Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

I was at an improv show the other night (Oklahoma), and one of the skits was a party scene and each comedian played a different part. Well, this guy was playing the host's son and the party goer was angry b/c his father had circed his dog. It went from a circ to total penile amputation (and that was accepted by the lead guy as OK)

So what am I asking is does this sound like good for intactivists or bad? Or is it confusing what I explained?
