Motherease Stay Dry Lining vs. Fleece

Hi All!

I am wanting to put MEOS on my baby shower registry but I can't decide what is best for the impending babe...

I have read so much about fleece ... do you just cut it more or less in the same shape as diaper and use it (w/o snapping in)?

Would it be easier to buy the new poly lined MEOS? I personally hate poly but now a days they make some nicer poly fabrics...is the ME poly liner soft? I know fleece is sythetic too...is the poly ok for the babes skin. I really like the idea of the easier poop removal and dryer against the skin. My only expereince is with fleece...I love it on my moon pad...so comfy and keeps moisture away! But again, the poly in the diaper sounds convieniant...w/o having to worry about buying, cutting and adding to diapers after washing.

If fleece is so great why doesn't ME make this as an option for their MEOS?

What say you, wise mamas?

Mucho TIA! Paige

I have one ME doubler with the stay dry top and I also have fleece liners that I made - just cut into a rectangle about the size of the dipe.

I don't feel REALLY strongly either way but if I had to choose I guess I would go with the fleece liners. I don't use them with every dipe change - only night time, nap time (if I remember) and if ds starts to look like a rash might be coming on. I only use the doublers at night time. So I guess I like that I can use the fleece liners without having to add a doubler. (I don't remember if ME has dipes with the stay dry or if it is just the liners.) I like the feel of the fleece better than the ME stay dry but it isn't like the ME fabric feels bad. The doubler with the stay dry seems heavier/thicker than the other doublers (also ME). I do notice that that doubler is the last one I grab but I don't really know why - does that make sense?? Sorry I am not more clear. The fleece seems better for poop removal but maybe that is just because it is thinner so it can wiggle around more. We use a diaper sprayer ( ) so it isn't much of an issue.

Oops - I have to run. I hope I made myself clear - it is late. :
