I just bought my birthing pool (the "fishy pool" that I've seen many homebirthers use) at Canadian Tire last Sunday. $35. I was shocked to see them there at this time of year, but there they were, just down from the Christmas trees.

On the website, the picture they have is NOT the hexagonal fishy pool, but the description and everything else matches, so I hope I get the right one!

Now to deal with DH when it arrives... I may have conveniently forgotten to tell him that I'm setting a pool up in the family room. Oops!

Yes I too just ordered the fishy one from ismartshoppe, I have looked all over and that is the best price for the size that i could find. It did show a different pic, but lists the dimensions 76x71x25 - so it has to be the larger hexagonal one. With shipping it was just $33 (us shipping). It does take a lot of water, but being a first time mum I should have enough time to fill it, even if I have to wait for the hot water heater to fill a second time!
