Okay - I know everyone is wanting their babies out... but I need mine to stay in! Just another day or so, really. My (awesome!!!) family practitioner is going out of town tomorrow afternoon to Saturday sometime and I do NOT want a random doctor in the practice. My doc is great about me waiving "standard procedure" - no GBS test... and no routine antibiotics because I refuse the test, no constant monitoring, labor however I want, push however I want, etc. I've had a random doctor that just shocked (and pretty ticked) that I hadn't had an ultrasound or any tests at that point.
Anyway... babbling aside... how about some baby-stay-in wishes for me? Just until Saturday late afternoon. My edd is Sunday and I went over with my son, so I'm not *too* worried. And I do believe that the mama can control labor until the doctor/midwife/"right" situation is established for her birth. But I would still appreciate the prayers and stay-in wishes!
