what do you do when your child makes you want to slap them!
I am sure that caught attention, I would never do that but am scared that the thoughts are even in my mind.
My dd has usually been a wonderful listener to me for the most part and I have hardly ever had to spank her. My dh will give her a gentle nudge every now and then and then she is good and happy after that with him and she calms down. She and him get along wonderfully and play all the time together. anyway, he has been out of town for 4 nights now leaving me with my 2.5 yr old dd and 3 wk old ds. So suddenly, at night, dd who has been sleeping in her own 'big girl bed' for a long time now happily is waking up and wanting to come with me and the baby in the bed.
DD kicks and thrashes and turns all over the place in her sleep and so it is not safe. And I am also afraid if I let her do it now that daddy is gone, she'll think she can afterwards too and then there would definitely not be any room.
anyway, now that I've made this so long, I can't get her to stay in the bed without crying or having a tantrum and I don't have enegry to deal with a tantrum in the middle of the night with a nursing baby!
so I'm going a little crazy and any nice suggestions would be appreciated.
