Suggestions for GD books?

I've read the list at the top of this forum, but there are SO many!
I have noticed that lately with my 9.5 month old I'm saying NO NO NO NO NO alot during the day. He's newly mobile and just exploring his surroundings. I hate saying NO to him all the time. He knows what the word means, cuz anytime it's out of my mouth (even to my DH and not directly toward Evan) he will drop his head and cry and scream and make fists. Quite the sight.

I just want to get out of the habit before I get IN to the habit ya know?

So I'm looking for a couple of book recommendations - what worked for you (specifically in the early years of discipline)?

Thanks for any help you all can give me...I believe in GD, I just feel like I need a bit of help getting there.

A couple of good books for starting out with GD are Adventures In Gentle Discipline and Becoming The Parent You Want To Be.

Babyproof, babyproof, babyproof. Make his environment explorable. It's so much easier on him and you.
