Butting in here.. yeah, induction does increase the risk of uterine rupture. I'm thinking you need a midwife.

Sounds like things are naturally starting for you, hopeful1.... keep active, read positive labor/birth stories and find you dh for some cuddle time- I've got my fingers crossed for you.

It sounds like he doesn't even have the b_lls to say it straight out...instead he just tells scary stories.
