Weird... I was in the middle of writing a post on the "waiting mamas" thread and got thirsty so got up and went to get a glass of water...

The I got the overwhelming urge to clean!! I hate cleaning and I have had no energy the last few weeks... So I completely forgot about the post that I was writing.... put all my clothes away, cleaned all of my room, put the baby clothes away... (they were all washed and in a basket since last weekend) and then cleaned the kids room, then Colin wanted to nurse so I came and sat down.... but as soon as he is done I am going to do more...

Sure sounds like nesting! I seem to be stuck somewhere between that and being totally glued to the couch. Congratulations on being seriously productive!

Lol... I have been glued to the couch for a few weeks now... I mean NO energy at all... just enough to feed the kids and make supper.... but even then I haven't been too good...(lol... I don't mean that I haven't been feeding the kids though!)
just after posting my post I got up and did the bathroom and Kitchen and then sweeped the floors and made lunch... now I am eating lunch while I type this... this is crazy!!

yup sounds like nesting to me. LOL with my oldest son, I cleaned my car inside and out and washed it and got it all pretty.

That happened the other night to me. I was so tired all day I kept telling DH that I felt drugged-I could barely get up to use the bathroom. Then at about 11:00 at night I just started cleaning. I cleaned the kitchen, the bedroom, packed my HP bag, and then scrubbed the bathroom. Now I have nothing left to do.

I"m not sure if my cleaning frenzies have anything to do with nesting or not. we jus tmoved into a new house a few months ago and have been having work done on it since. (the good news is that it should be done by Monday) It has been making me into a cleaning freak. Honestly, I think I've swiffered or mopped at least once a day for th epast month. I do laundry ALL THE TIME just to make sure there are always clean clothes. I find myself brushing down the couches (we've got 3 cats) at least 3 times a week because the fur has started making me crazy.

Of course this could all be symptomatic of the fact that I haven't been working for the past few months. . I just don't know what to dow ith my time.

You sound like me! Personally, I'm enjoying this. I've always HATED cleaning, am the WORST housekeeper, you should see my house most of the time. I never got this last time, and was in the hospital for over a week while my mother had to come over and clean the house top to bottom. So now all the woodwork in my house has been polished, the grout in the shower has been scrubbed clean of all mildew, I've vacuumed every surface I can find, and the house looks fantastic! Now I'm trying to force myself to relax and conserve my energy these last couple of weeks, rather than head up to the attic to sort through all the junk up there!

Oh, but the attic is calling my name...

well... I was nesting for a little while but now its gone.
Anyone of you are more then welcome to come over here though if you need something to do
My house is kindda : and I really WANT it clean but thats as far as I've gotten this week
Maybe I'll have a nesting session just before this babe arrives, that would be nice!

My house was spotless when dd2 arrived. I think I nested for weeks, just a little piece of paper on the floor drove me insane, my house is usually somewhat picked up but I don't have the urge to vacuum every single day.
