twin homebirth sonogram update

I went for a 30 week 0 day ultrasound today. It went fine. The girls were being little monkies in the car and my belly was all weird just as I layed on the table. I have never seen it that shaped and thought "hmmmmmmm" Of course A was transverse and B head down (They have both been head down for weeks grrrrr to them flipping for the appointment) figures I get THAT on my record. So the tech is working FOREVER to get the measurements on A and my little darling flipped back around - head down (good girl) So I made the tech change the data on the main sheet (she wasn't going to ) Anyways, the girls have real long legs and weigh 3lbs 9oz and 3lbs 12oz. I read the typical weight on a singleton at 33 weeks is almost 4lbs - so they are doing well at 30. I remember my friends twin girls were 2/12 and 3/2 at 30 weeks - so I am on target for healthy babies!!! But i don't feel like I needed an ultrasound to tell me that. I am suppossed to have another in 4 weeks - but i feel like it's such a waste of money and time and worry. I scheduled it - but i may call and push it back so it will be at 36 weeks instead of 34.......unless my overall health changes. I'm going to run that by my midwifery team. I did get to talk to our flying MW on the phone on Sunday night and we went through all kinds of senarios - I like her. She's older and has a LOT of spunk I think she'll be a great balance to the team I have put together. She has been trying to sell her house and on Wednesday they sold it - so she is moving to Belize on Dec. 7th. I was really hoping it wouldn't sell so i could buy a Houston plane ticket instead of Belize - but what can I do at this point. I'm certinly not going to give up on a homebirth! I have a regular prenatal next weekend.

Anyways, that's the skinny on my situation for now! I just have to keep cookin'
