Cute dressy clothes for 5yo boy?

Every year we attend this fancy schmancy kids' christmas party with my inlaws. I am not a big fan of the party, but my kids love it, so we go. Anyhow, I am looking for a cute dressy x-mas out fit for ds1. I have not had much luck with gap, ebay, hanna andersson, etc. I'd like something a little more cute than just a red argyle sweater vest, you know? He's 5, not 15. Any ideas?

Can you find a cute wintery red sweater and some black corduroys? I think that makes a cute dressup outfit. Land's End has cute sweaters.

I know what you mean about clothes for boys in most stores. I often find them too casual or like copies of adult business casual or adult suits.

Our favorite stores online are Entertaining Elephants and Oliebollen. I am not sure if they carry really dressy clothes though- but one thing for sure is they are super cute!

this outfit is really cute, maybe for your little one. It goes up to size 7 though, I think. I haven't looked around the site but maybe there are some other good things too.
