Doorway Puppet Theater?

Does anyone have one?

Would you recommend one?

Does it get a lot of use? How old are your kids? Is it easy to move out of the way?

My son was given one for his second birthday and it has been wonderful. It is made of soft cloth (felt-like) and a pressure curtain rod keeps it in a doorway. It was a big hit and we still bring it out occasionally for my now almost 6yo son and 2yo daughter to play with. It was a huge hit when we hosted playgroups/parties. We all love to act in our family

We did have it come down a few times on top of a kiddo so make sure it is very secured in the doorway.

We absolutely love ours. My mil made it for the kids last Christmas. She said that it wasn't very hard to make and it came out absolutely beautiful. If you can sew, you can probably put one together yourself. I sent her a picture of one from the Hearthsong catalog.

She used one of those curtain rods with the springs for the top. It has purple and maroon satin fabric.

They are great because we just roll it up and put it away when we are finished.

It does look pretty easy to make with some felt and small fabric curtains. A tension shower rod ought to keep it in place nicely even if it were heavy. If you're crafty at all you could probably make it without even having to sew... Good luck! If you do make one, post some pics for us!

DD liked it best of the Hearthsong, another one (?) and this which seems to be available all over.

I WISH I could make one! I noticed they have patterns on E-bay, but I just don't think it is going to happen.
