Accupuncture.. anyone had it? did you get results?

I posted earlier that i took castor oil to bring on contractions as I am 42 weeks and haven;t had any BH or pre-labor contraction and haven;t dialated.. So the castor oil brought on menstrual cramp type contractions from 1:30 in the morning till about 11:30 the following morning....
I went and had Accupunture done at 10:30 and the contractions just fizzled out... the man said to go back for another session but it's expensive and hasn;t really proved it's self today.
I'm feeling like the accupuncture kinda ruined all my "hard" work with the castor oil. I did manage to loose my mucus plug this morning while i was having the MC type contractions.
Anyone else do accupunture? did you do more then one session? Did it bring on stronger contrations?
I'm going to do another dose of castor oil tonight, and hope it starts the MC contractions again.

Just returned from the accupuncturist 5 min ago! I had a treatment on Friday night (different, less "aggressive" accupuncturist) and made more progress said MW from Fri-Sat than I had in the last 2 weeks! Saw a diff. accupuncturist today (more "aggressive") who says he's had total success - all labours w/in 12-18 hrs of treatment. If no baby by tomorrow pm, then I think it's castor oil for me!

we should exchange email addresses and keep in touch! I think it's pretty cool!
I just got off the phone with MW and the accupunturist... and we are gonna have another go at the accupunture tommorow at 3pm ... he says MOST people get best results after more then one visit...
I had very little sleep last night.. so tonight i am gonna rest and relax and do visulisation (sp?)I think my body knows i'm tired so hopefully the rest will "revive" my contractions. I'' come back from the accupunturist tommorow and do the 4pm,5pm, 6pm castor oil regime.. and the combination should bring on STRONG contractions.
Nice to hear the the results youare supposed to get from the accupuncture aren't instantainious (spelling terrible today). I was really disapointed today that the contractions stopped after my appointment... but Thank you now I know it isn't an "instant" thing.
