GD book rec for caregivers of infant/toddler?

I know there's the book sticky there, but I'm looking for some specific recommendations for easy and quick reads for caregivers of my DD.

Long story short: I'll be going back to work soon and my mother and MIL will be looking after DD. I have some specific concerns with the way I've watched them interact with her. I have brought it up with them, but I think it would help them to read a book that explains things better than I can, and I think they would be receptive to reading.

My specific concerns are that I feel that both come from a fairly negative parenting stance. Their reaction to everything is "No!" or "Don't do that." There is not a lot of redirection or understanding that what DD is doing is simply normal baby behaviour and she is not being 'bad' or malicious. MIL in particular is fond of calling her names - the last time she came over, she referred to DD as a troublemaker, a naughty baby, a brat and a rascal within the first 20 minutes of her visit. And DD was being her normal happy smiley but active self!

Like I said, we've had chats about this type of behaviour, and I've seen the little light bulbs going off in their heads, but I think that the behaviour is fairly ingrained from their parenting days and I suspect a book written by a 'parenting expert' might exert some influence.

Any book suggestions would be much appreciated.

Adventure in Gentle discpline by LLL. It gives concrete examples as well illustrates age appropriate behaviors.
