Is it ok to be in one if your water has broken? I thought no baths after your water breaks.

If active labor is well established (after membranes have ruptured) then birth pool is fine. If your membranes upture BEFORE active labor is established, you run the risk of infection, (due to possibilty of prolonged prodomal labor) Make sense?

Gotcha!!! And, cool news - I asked my MW today if most of her moms get pools and she actually has one that she brings with her. Does she rock, or what.
