Weight gain check in - Page 3

14 pounds at 31 weeks.

I'm 33 weeks and have gained 43 pounds. Every time I step on the scale I'm amazed at how fast that needle jumps! I keep reminding myself that I'm carrying two this time. I only gained 30 pounds with my previous two pregnancies.

31 weeks and 32 lbs. This is much better than with ds, where I was already up about 40 lbs and ended up at 48 (on a diabetic diet for the last 10 weeks, too). But I have been eating WAY better this time -- much less fast food and ice cream and no potato salad at all (as opposed to the tubs of the stuff I ate last time). But since I started out 5 lbs heavier, I'll probably end up at about the same weight.

Want to REALLY know how you compare?

The total nerd in me, apparently, put down her graham crackers & icing long enough to come up with an AVERAGE so far!

Together, we have gained a total of 910 pounds.

The average weight gain is 25.28 pounds at this point.

31 wks tommorow... I lost .3 lbs the past 3 wks. I am still under the 20lb mark. Which is suprising b/c with ds I gained 40lbs by 39 wks. I hopefully will stay under 30lbs this time.

I'm 33 weeks (and 5-6 days) and have gained about 30 lbs. Not too worried about it, but am a bit amazed I keep gaining because with my squished stomach I barely seem to be eating at all

I know, I know, easier said than done.

Seriously though, I'm only 4 pounds over my starting weight too. Since you're making the extra effort to eat well & everything I wouldn't stress too much (unless there's a problem you didn't mention in your op of course...)

Also, remember that from this point on the main thing the baby will be doing is adding weight so your weight probably will go up more over the next few weeks.

Holly
i'm having an unassisted pregnancy and birth so nobody is checking up on me but FHT are consistently in the 140-150s and i'm measuring only a few centimeters small on fundal height so i imagine everything is fine. it's just such an odd feeling, ya know? last time i was the exact opposite, worrying because i was gaining so much!

I'm 32 weeks and gained 10 pounds. I lost some weight from morning sickness and was already overweight before though.

Ha, now it is 970! Anybody else who hasn't reported? Maybe we can hit 1000!

The average now is 24.87 pounds.

At 30 weeks, I've gained a total of 15 lbs.

I love the running tally, by the way! It cracks me up to imagine half a ton of baby bellies!
Well, I'll just keep it going then!

985 pounds so far... 24.63 is the average

I haven't gained any additional weight in the past 2 weeks. My belly has gotten bigger, though. I gained 65# last time, 27ish so far this time - but that is already in the total. So, I can't bump us towards 1000.

I'm 34 weeks and have gained 26 lbs so far.
