how often do you wash your babe?

We only wash Sam about once a week. I don't think that he really needs it any more than that...unless he has a huge poop blowout that goes all over the place.

Just wondering how many times you ladies do it!

1-2 times per week. He loves the bath. Dada gets in there with him and big brother helps from the side.

I usually wash her about 2-3 times a week, mostly because she really loves taking baths! I would do it every day if it wasn't kind of a hassle and didn't kill my back to lean over the bathtub It's nice when they get bigger and you can put them in the tub without needing to keep a hand on them and they can play all by themselves! My older DD takes 4-5 a week because she just likes to splash around in the water.

baths are kind of a pita since erin's too long for the baby bath & kitchen sink anymore. she loves being in the tub w/ us for about 5 or 10 mins, but then wants to get out & isn't too happy, so it's kind of a 2 parent job. so only about once a week or so. can't wait until she can sit up & use a baby bath chair thingy.

I shoot for every other day, but sometimes it's once every 2-3 days. The only reason I do it this much is that Spike has a ton of hair that gets kind of icky after a few days.

We're about once a week, too. We bathe together, then I wrap baby in a towel and put him in a vibrating seat (next to the tub) and finish up with a quick shower.

I've got the heater on in the bathroom so it's a nice balmy 80 degrees, so babe doesn't get cold (and me neither .

we go for 1-2 a week and would do more if it wasnt so energy intensive. her hair gets greasy fast!

isa used to love baths but now she seems to enjoy the shower more.... loves being rained on by warm water! it's a two person deal though. the only downfall of bath time is getting her dressed afterwards, she usually gets upset. we need a little heater in there, i think it might help.

Sounds like Stella! She's part-otter and gets greasy hair fast! Plus her neck folds get irritated wihout a good dunking every other day or so. One of us runs a bath with her, or when I'm alone, I just set her on a fluffly towel in the tub and run about an inch or two of water for a quick bath. We took our first shower the other day, and she liked it! I think...she didn't cry anyway!

Every other day because of that greasy hair factor. I can tell Charlie needs to bathe by how flat her hair is...when it's clean, it sticks straight up!

My cousin's baby has the exact same hair as your Charlie. Love it!
We do a bath 2x a week. Sean loves the water. I end up soaked because he splashes so much.

Isn't the greasy hair thing weird?! I had no idea babies get such greasy hair until I had Erin!!!

Well seeing as Aria has basically no hair the grease isn't an issue so I take about one- two baths a week with Aria. We get in together and splish splash around. She loves it but she HATES to get dressed afterwards otherwise I would do it more- plus with the winter I don't want her skin getting dry from too much bathing.

once a week, Kienan has no hair and how dirty does a baby get. I do a good diaper area clean daily as well as face and hands. He loves the water but hates the getting out, the bathroom is pretty cold and even with warm from the dryer towel he gets pissed when I have tp dress him, so once a week it is DD gets one daily

I didn't bathe Ian at all for quite awhile. He shrieked everytime I tried so I just went to spot cleaning. He does love getting his hair washed but his doesn't get greasy very fast. Just last week I sat him in the big tub with with my dd and he seemed very interested and not at all upset. We just did it again today and I even held him with one hand/arm and used the other to gently trickle water over him and wash him up. I think it's a combo of feeling safe because he's with his sis and just being older and more able to deal with all the sensations. He did hate getting out, but once I dried him off and got a dipe on him he was better. He even let me put lotion on him and grinned the whole time.
