Current Status

So I've been doing the '3-4 hours night labor' and then it stalls after being 5 min apart. Baths and sleep stopped it, for a week now.

Past two nights, baths not stopping it, but it is slowing down in the night and allowing 'spotty' sleep, (you know, wake up about 5 times with a zinger that makes you need to hit the bathroom) then kinda picks up again the next day, but very irregular ctx, can still do stuff around house, but taking it easy during them.

Stats:

Week 39, Day 2
I'm 80-90% effaced
3-4 cm dialated
-2 station, head definitely half way into the pelvic bone, and facing correct position, lots of pressure, but the sciatic stuff is actually lessened. Just lots of PEEING

Membranes and water intact, just lots of discharge without BS.

I'm hanging in there...MW thinks I keep having a nice slow progression, and then it's gonna go fast once I hit the 'point of no return'...

So if you don't hear from me this weekend....

At least with all the BH and or 'early stage' labor stuff, I'm seeing some progress...and though the start/stop ctx are annoying, they seem to be doing something when they get 'active' like that!

Sending out vibes to all the Nov moms in this 'holding' pattern! I'm not sure if I want to go to Thanksgiving Day or just be done! It's kind nice having some progress and not too bad a labor issue atm!

You sound like me! I'm drinking RRL by the teapotful, having lots of sex, and DH is massaging my Spleen 6 point a couple times a day.

My status as of yesterday:
1-2 cm dilated
30% effaced
Very soft but posterior cervix

This is further than I'd gotten last time after 5 days of various induction meds! (I had pre-eclampsia and was induced at 40w).

Today I'm having lots of discharge but no show like I had last time, and, um, my bowels are a little more active than they have been lately. I'm hoping that's a good sign and not just me getting sick or something!

I kind of like this slow, early progression. It's nice to be able to just labor for a couple of hours a day. Take it easy, you know?

I am 2-3cm and 75% effaced as of Wednesday.
Baby is facing the back and head is engaged, don't know station but he is "right there"

MW stripped my membranes at last appt. I have PIH and possible mild PE so we are trying to nudge my body so I don't have to have an induction. I am also on strict bedrest. Ugg...

I lost my musous plug this morning, and I can't believe how much of it there was! No contractions that I know are contractions, but I have been very crampy off an on for a week now with a terrible back ache.

Pray I go before next Friday which is my induction date.

baby is engaged and can't be pushed away from my cervix
today my midwife "play around" with my cervix for about 4 minutes so hopefully that will release some hormones and get this party started!

Me: 38 weeks 3 days... (or 41 weeks if you believe the u/s date!)
Lots of ctx at night, without a pattern
No idea about dilation/effacement/etc....

I'm 40wks today--if I go by conception date...39wks and 3 days if I go by u/s date.

I've been very irritable, loose stools, different discharge (change in hormones?) but no mucus plug or BS, lots of BH or reg surges not sure--but no pattern and can easily talk thru etc. I am tired very tired...

I'm 40w2days, I've never made it this far so its all exciting and I'm READY! But no contractions, though some pretty intense cramping yesterday. I'm around 2 cm and thinning out but my cervix is still posterior but making progress. I feel good but tired since the last 2 nights I've had crazy insomnia. Good luck to you all and here's some

I'm only 38 wks so I really shouldn't even be worrying about this I don't know if I'm dilated or effaced (my MW doesn't do internals unless I am overdue). I have very frequent BH ctx but they are irregular. I wake up several times a night with BH. I also have some twinges in my cervix every now and then. Moderate discharge, no bloody show.
