Themes for December-March?

I planned themes up to November, I was originally planning to do 3 months on, 1 month off, which would give me December off. At this moment Im planning to just do school like the area Sept-May, and summers off. I know we will still do stuff this summer, but schedule wise, I'm gonna try this way.

So.... I have nothing planned for December through March. Nothing past then ether, I try to do things in 3 month increments, just to have a theme/general idea.

Shes just a few weeks shy of 6 years old. She doesnt have any ideas on what she wants to do next, when I asked for an idea, she said I come up with good ones. oh I am planning a fairy tale theme after the holiday season, probably do that right away in January... otherwise, those who do themes, what do you have upcoming? Or hope to get to?

We've happenned upon a KITE theme lately. We've found some fantastic childrens storybooks about kite building. I'll look for the titles for you. Lots of art, math, literature...blends well with dds interest in origami. In March (we live near DC) the Smithsonian has a kite festival and kids are invited to the Air and Space museum to make their own...

Just the beginnings of an idea.... HTH
