Where can I find info on what's required in my state? I think I had better get my ducks in a row before pulling dd-


When does the letter of intent need to be submitted if I am pulling her mid-year and to whom shall I address it? I can only find info on submitting it by 1 Sept for a new school year on HSLDA. What should be included in the letter?
What kind of records should I keep? (They need to be submitted annually-)

Do any E TN, specifically Knox county, homeschoolers know? Would I just be further ahead calling the board of ed?

It's usually not a good idea to go to school authorities with homeschooling questions. You'll be able to get more accurate information from homeschooling organizations. Here are lists of support groups:

You can also find groups by going to
http://groups.yahoo.com/ and searching in the homeschooling groups. You might not find one for your specific area, but you can join a statewide or regional one and ask there.
