Anyone else officially "overdue" (42 weeks+)?

I'm 42 weeks and 1 day today and am REALLY wishing baby would show up. I'm also getting nervous about how much longer I should wait before I go along with induction. This baby has SUA (single umbilical artery), and I've read babies with this condition are at greater risk for stillbirth, so that makes me more nervous. Not to mention, I'm anxious to verify that she doesn't have any other problems. SUA babies are usually fine but do have have other defects 20-50% of the time. Nothing else was found on the ultrasound, but ultrasounds only pick up defects about 70% of the time, and so I keep doing the math and thinking that this baby still has a 7-16% chance of having a problem we don't know about yet. My next appointment is tomorrow, and I'm really hoping I go into labor today. (I did see some pieces of mucus plug yesterday!)

I'm only 8 days overdue so not as far as you but I think we should form a club! I saw some of my mucus plug yesterday too. Isn't it funny how exciting that becomes at this point!

So lets make a deal...we will both have our babies before it reaches Nov 20th?? That will work right? Our bodies will do this for us ...right?

well going by my first date, I'm 42 weeks 2 days... however I think my dates are wrong.
I ended up having an U/S on Wed and the placenta looks fine and baby looks great.
I didn't really want to get one but it made my midwives much more comfortable and it was nice just to see if everything was ok.
Anyway... I have no idea when I'm 'due'
I'd love for the baby to come SOON!!!!!!!!! (before Thanksgiving??? PLEASE)

Have you considered accupuncture or accupressure??

I'm sure you are trying all the other natural means to get things going since I know you are anxious to birth this baby (and give me a run for the size award!!!!).

Sex, nipple stim, etc??
