Search - it burns ... I mean, no-poo, it burns

Yeah then. So I've got ... probably sebohratic dermatitis; I used the Nirazol every once in a while to beat my scalp into submission.

Tried a couple tbs of baking soda in water on my hair the other day, scrubbing as deep as I could as well as I could (I have thick hair, long, that I'll be cutting after the holidays), then rinsing with 50/50 water/ACV.

My head kind of burned for the rest of the day.

Next day, I did a big scalp wash/hair wash with the Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo.

Next day, itchy and flaky (as usual when my hormones are whacked - I've got PcOS so that's a lot).

But my scalp does feel cleaner ...

Keep it up with the every few days washing with baking soda and rinsing with diluted vinegar? Or since I do have scalp problems to start with, go a different route? I've been trying to search but it's basically useless, I get "no results" every darn time.

You don't rinse with the vinegar, you rinse the baking soda out with water and then you rinse the vinegar out with water too.

Also if you have thick hair, try diluting the baking soda in some lightweight conditioner so it's easier to manage.

If you have sebhorreic dermatitis, the burning you feel is the baking soda and vinegar on open sores - if you use this combination for a while and let the sores heal, it won't hurt afterward.

I have suggestions for PCOS, but I will have to write again later!

I expressed myself badly. I did rinse with ACV, but I also rinsed with plain water afterwards.

The next day it was still itching and burning, so I used J & J baby shampoo. The next day, same thing, used Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo. The next day it's still kind of dry and itchy ... but it feels like the normal pain and discomfort.

How do I let this all "heal"? Hit myself with Nizoral and then try the no-poo again after it's healed? I started it when I noticed a few spots popping up that were raw and oozy under crusty buildup.

Yeah, that may possibly work, do the Nizoral and heal it up and do no-poo to maintain a healthy scalp and keep from getting the scabbies.

I didn't have it as bad as you, but I used to have a semi-scabby scalp a bit when I shampooed. No scabs since no-pooing.
