the Wheel of Time... should i even bother?

i LOVED the first 3 and got tired by the 9th. i'm thinking of trying again, though but should i even bother? i just feel like towards the end they just weren't going anywhere. so do they ever pick up? and i mean in a way that would grab one's attention. is it worth finishing them off?

He is not done yet.

They do pick up..and drag..and pick up...and drag.

But he is still writing them. Blarg.

Well for me I quit after book 4. Although I liked the story it was just a lot of reading and I got burned out. Then when I wanted to pick up again I really didn't remember what was going on.

After I finish the Left Behind books, I'll probably go back and read WoT again just to see if he goes anywhere. I have a sneaking suspicion, though, that Jordan has forgotten how to end a book, to say nothing of the overarcing story. Was it the ninth one that has the first half of the book covering the last day of the eighth, or the tenth? :
