I think it might be a girl but really am not sure. I am looking forward to the surprise.
I am planning a home water birth w/ the same midwife that we have had for 5 yrs. We hope all the kids can be present and i am hoping for a similar birth to ds2.

The kids are getting really excited and i think they are as ready as they are going to be. ds 2 is really looking forward to the baby bringing more milk.
My fav. part of having a new born - that is hard bcs i like a lot of it. i love nursing my babe and watching them grow so big w/ my milk. I love wearing them and keeping them close. I love watching them change every day.
I think I am ready emotionally. I just haven't really done much physically. The house is trashed, the diapers are out but not washed, the tub is here but not blown up, the clothes are out washed and finally put away. I think that is about it. I suppose whatever is left can just get done when I realize it needs done.

Well, w/ the 2 girls that I nanny (that I have been watching 7 yrs) and my 2 boys I am not sure that this little one will change things much. I haven't really nested either bcs I have done it already in previous pgs and still have it, etc. My co-sleeper has been hooked up to the bed for 5 yrs. So to answer your question no I don't think adding this addition will be hard at all.

Yes!!! I came home from my midwife appt. which was an excellent appt. and just broke down. I just want to build a nest or something and crawl into it until the baby is born. DH took the kids for 2 1/2 hrs to the store and just around so that I could get a break. I just laid in the bed and did nothing. It was absolutely wonderful. Then today I sat on my butt and didn't do anything while everyone else "prepared" the dinner (it was all pre-bought) and they cleaned up. It was hard but felt really great. I have a feeling taht I won't get away w/ this for much longer. But i'll try

My boys are very very excited about a new baby in the family. Everytime they see a little baby they get so excited. They all helped dh blow up the tub today and the kids were just thrilled. Ds1 remembers our loss last september and is still very sad about it. He is excited that this baby is still ok but sais he will feel lots better when he can hold it. (and he is only 4)

My boys are sure that this baby is a boy. ds 1 said that he wanted another brother bcs he like the one he has He is not one for change. He also said that if it is a girl he will be angry at God and will yell at him and ask him to send us a boy. At least he feels comfortable w/ his relationship w/ God

Are they really close to the kids that you nanny?
I have been watching the girls for 7 yrs, since they were 7 months and 3 1/2 and now they are 7 1/2 and almost 11. My boys have never know their lives w/ out the girls and they call them their sisters so they are very very close. The girls were able to be at ds2's birth and we are hoping that they can attend the birth of this one as well. They are a big part of our lives and I love them like my own children so I really feel like we are adding #3 and #5 all at the same time. Kind of weird. (so a long answer to a short question, sorry)
