I'm sure that even by just thinking it I'm putting a stop to the entire thing. That's just how my life works. 
About three days ago I started losing pieces of my mucous plug ... nothing big, just pieces of mucous every time I went to the bathroom.
Yesterday DH and I went for a long walk and then out to lunch. Afterwards the pieces of mucous started having blood in them ... not bright red blood, but brown, the way I think it's supposed to be.
Last night I went to pick something up off the floor and when I straightened up some liquid was released and ran down the inside of my legs. It wasn't a whole lot, not the giant bucketfull like you see in the movies, but it was most definitely not pee.
And now ever since then I've been losing larger and larger pieces of mucous (which are all still browny-bloody) and I've been having very deep-down pain which comes and goes. It's not crippling, I can breathe through it, but it was most definitely keeping me awake.
So here I am giving you the most intimately detailed account of what's going on. Whaddya think? Early labor?
