What baby spoons do you all use? What would be considered the safest and healthiest material for a baby spoon? I ordered some wooden ones and I was also wondering about sterling silver? Recommendations?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.
Baby spoons?

I pick up old sterling silver spoons from garage and estate sales. I also use stainless though when those aren't available. I don't know of any issues with stainless, as long as you don't keep them dipped in citrus fruits for too long (as the acid can cause the metal can leach them).
I NEVER use plastic. At home, OR dining out. For health AND safety reasons. Nice waiters always try to offer plastic spoons for babies, but aside from the toxicity, they are a MAJOR chocking hazard. A good friend of mine was letting her 15 mnth old feed himself some frozen yogurt wiht a plastic spoon. She turned around, and he bit it off and started choking on it. SOOOOO scary!

We like the wooden ones and sterling, too.
