Ok...how do I get the whey from the milk? lol I have raw local whole milk in my frdige right now.

And for cream, do I just let it sit out and separate?

This is new to me, but I think my digestive track needs a little help from fermented products. I know when I was Macro, the best thing about it for me was the pickled stuff.

For today, I want the whey so I can make kimchee. (although I make it plenty enough without it).

Oh, you need it today? I would just drip some yogurt in a cheesecloth lined colinder(sp? ). One word of caution though....my fermented cabbage turns out gross when I use whey. It has a "barny" aftertaste. If you have a tried and true method of making your own kimchee, you might be better off just using that.

Yes...I would agree with others...make it yourself. It is the easiest of all NT things to make. You can use just about anything to get it...milk, yogurt, kefir. I know have a special yogurt cheese maker that I use to make a whey...it is easier and dishwasher friendly but for many years I just used cheesecloth & a rubberband.

Is Whey (whey better, hehe )better to use than sea salt to ferment veggies? You can get whey from kefir, too?:

By the way this site has way more emotions and cool ones
