Liza, huh... I am going to have to get on that. Bring on the prostaglandins, I say!!!! Whether they work or not, not being able to have sex for a while afterwards is suuuurely enough of a reason for me to want some o' that NOW!

My husband and I have different sex time cycles. He's always ready when I'm sleepy or not feeling well, and I'm always ready when he is busy with something else. *sigh* We are working on it though! I am going to start my EPO also.

I have noticed that when I drink my RRL tea, I do have more BH's than otherwise...

Not from your DDC, but thought I'd chime in anyway. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Black/Blue Cohosh. Goldenseal capsules are also supposed to help jumpstart labor. There is an accupressure point on the inside of the leg, about 4 fingerwidths above the ankle bone that is supposed to help, also. Not sure about the dosages for any of these, or how long to apply the accupressure, but I'm sure a quick search could turn up something.

I've been drinking RRL tea for a couple of weeks now--it's actually calmed my BH's quite a bit, not nearly so painful or long-lasting now.

Personally, I have been walking a lot, having sex, drinking rrl tea, and eating eggplant (because it is my favorite thing in the world). Also bouncing on my birth ball. I'm not necessarily trying to get things going though, just getting in the habit since I'm in my last few weeks....

Despite all this my babe has not even dropped yet. No pelvic pressure, nothing. I think they really just come when they're ready.

I've been walking a lot, having sex regularly, altough I don't enjoy it like I used to, I know that it should help, and I'm also doing yoga.
I'm 37w4d and in my last appt I was 2cm and 50%, but no ctx whatsoever. I don't want to have my hopes up.
Squating and kegels make my little girl move a lot.

Well, I am still not in labor. She did drop about 3 days ago which is great because my heartburn and reflux is SOOOOO much better!! I go to see my Midwife on Wed and I am praying that I have dialated at least a little!!

I have been bouncing on my ball and walking. I am FINALLY going to Whole Foods tonight so I will pick up some EPO and RRL capsules. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow C'mon baby!!!!!

well there are many old wives tales

but there are two that I know can work (not always though) one is doing a lot of walking. This also helps your body get ready for labor and also sex. Sex has prostaglandins in it which help bring on contractions. Hope that helps !
