Yes, having gone to the pediatric neurologist it sounds like this is definitely exactly the case! I don't know what our pediatrician was thinking. It figures it couldn't be that simple!
He's had a bunch more "episodes", so we have an MRI, a 1hr EEG and a 24hr EEG all scheduled. He HAS to get tubes/adenoidectomy and the neurologist doesn't suggest doing that until we have the tests done so as not to bring in any more potential complications (inner ear balance weirdness or anything, I guess).
I'm hoping the 24 hour won't be too traumatic - my son is really great about medical stuff (he finds most of it interesting), so since it's not painful I'm hoping for the best.
I'm nervous about the sedation for the MRI, but I'd rather know for sure there's nothing going on in that little melon.
