I have to say though that I really learned A LOT about home insem - DH travels for work every other week, so you never know when this info might come in handy...

...ahem...first post on the page! Gotta be good luck for the DW, right?

And always glad to enrich knowledge about home insems....

Ann109, if you guessed West Michigan with emphesis on Holland, you would be correct, although, I'm actually in G.R. now. My dh has some family up in Alma. We like it up there, but it probably wouldn't be good for his career choice (he's a Spanish/English interpreter/translator). Unless he hurries up and finishes his teaching degree. His grandparents both worked in Alma school district, and his Grandfather was a principle at the High school, I believe.

Can I join the Dec. 7th POAS club? I believe my AF is due on the 5th I believe, so it would be good for me to hold out till the 7th so not to "waste" any tests. With both my previous pregnancy, AF had to be a few days late before a BFP, so maybe I'm a late implanter...

Baby dust for us all!!!

Good grief we're busy this week!!! 9 pages already!!!

Ok, so I guess there are a LOT of us testing all at the same time!! I am testing this Sat at 11DPO just for the heck of it since it's my anniversary! Then, if still BFN, I'll test on the 7th with everyone else at 16DPO in honor of my sissy's anniversary (mommy-x-2 is my sis if anyone cares )...and then if necessary I will test on the 9th/10th at 18/19DPO for DSS's b-day!!! December is a big month

Glad there are SO many of us together...it makes it MUCh easierto have so much support!!! : for all of us!!!

Changes made to here.

If we don't get a minimum of one BFP after all this testing, I will seriously cry! At least one person around here deserves a BFP before the holidays!

PS....I think you should all look at my monstrous temp increase today...and that's AFTER using the temp corrector....the BBT read higher, but not fever high!!!!!!

Fishie, that looks Awesome!!!

Good luck to everyone this Saturday.

I'm feeling slightly less grumpy today. And I'm treating myself to a professional massage tomorrow. Figured I deserved it after all this. Very much looking forward to it.

So I'm sure this is going to be the cycle I get pregnant! But my temperature has been all wacky because I was fighting off a cold at the beginning of my cycle. I"m normally around 97.3 in the first half of my cycle. Now, instead, I've been having temps around 97.9. I guess I'm just worried that I won't know when I've finally hit the REAL high temperatures.

Any words of wisdom?

Thanks,
katie (megincl's wife, who posted on here sometime earlier)

You know, I was kind of thinking that maybe there should be a disclaimer on the first post of the One Thread. Something like: It should be expected that this Thread contains way TMI. Please read at your own risk.

So, the bottom of my right boob was itchy. I was looking at it and it appears that I have some sort of rash underneath there. Because I scratched it before I looked at it, it looks pretty raw. It kind of looks like small pimples or something. It is only a small patch -- maybe 1/2 an inch or so wide by about 2 inches or so long. It is incredibly itchy. Any ideas what this might be?

I have no thoughts on the itchy boob Sorry.

The disclaimer, however, is a GREAT idea!!! And SOOOOO true!!!!

Sorry to post questions here...

but I never get any responses when I start new threads. About how many DPO do sore bbs/tender nipples begin when pg? When does the gassiness/bloat begin? frequent urination??

I was telling my sister today that what makes me nervous about this cycle is that I DON'T want to test! I am ok with waiting. I am not overanalyzing the "symptoms", rather just trying to obtain accurate information. She said that since in the past I have obsessively tested and NOT been pg, then now that I don't want to test, it must mean I AM pg! Anyone else have anything like this?? Maybe I'm just looney!

Fishie--> it can start really early, esp. gassiness and sore bbs, and lots of blue veins on chest/bbs... Lots of people will argue this point, but I've found that symptoms can begin as early as 4 or 5 dpo ... maybe I'm an early implanter or something, but I stand by it. I think a fertilized egg transmits some signals before implanting and triggering the production of hcg (but, that is my totally unscientific hypothesis!!)

Do ALL pg women have noticable blue veins??? I have a VERY large chest anyway, so I can already see a lot of veins. How much darker do they get??

twilightgirl- my dh recently made that career change from being a hotel manager. He works for a non-profit agency here, and is enjoying it. How long have you been doing it? Any advice to a newbie?
Fishie- I'm quite top heavy, and I think I had blue viens, my dh didn't notice, so it could have been me seeing things I wanted to see!
Greenegirl- I get the itchy boob rash occassionally in the summer. I think it's caused by boob sweat that gets trapped in by my bra. But, as stated above, I'm top heavy, so that might be just me. I sleep topless whenever it happens, and try to wipe of any sweat frequently during the day. And try not to itch! I itched so badly that I almost bled this summer!
It could also be laundry detergent change, change in body wash, that sort of thing. Good luck not driving yourself crazy, and hopefully it will go away soon!

Mostly lurking, waiting to O, but wanted to comment on this one...

With my first DS, I had no idea I was pg (I found out about 6-7 WEEKS!), but correlated a bunch of early symptoms when I found out. The first one was definitely tender nips! We were driving across the country to a friend's wedding and then to visit family, and the seatbelt drove me NUTS!! It was maybe a week later that I had spotting that I thought meant AF was on her way, and then nothing! A couple of weeks later I was sick as a dog and finally made DH buy me a test, because I was either pg or dying! And now we have our 4.5yo DS.

All that reminsicing to say, YES! Tenderness can start well before implantation!

I'm smack in the middle of Christian Reformed Dutch land! No offense to anyone! What part of Michigan does she live in? And Ann109, where are you?

So, I'm feeling pukey today, but it could be because of lack of sleep from working 2nd and 3rd shifts. Oh well, I'm on cd 22, is that too early?

I agree wtih you and Ann! 100% My sis is in the Gr area. Are you in the Holland area?

Oops, I posted this before I read everything. Holland war right!!
