Hi from a Full-Term Mom!!!

Hey there,

I admit I have not been too active in this group but I want to be. I am 37 weeks today with my second boy. I am getting tired of hearing about more "mainstream" pregnancies and thought being here would be better for me

We are stationed overseas and I will give birth in a German hospital. My DH is in the Army and deployed and we hope he will make it in time for the birth. He is supposed to get R&R in Dec. But if he isn't here in time my mom will be here for me...she will be the next best thing to having him with me.

Anyway, glad to be here and hope to enjoy the last few weeks of pregnancy with all of you

Julie

Hi Dwmama. My DH is deployed too but we aren't going to try and gamble with getting him here in time for the birth. Welcome back to the group and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

I am in Schweinfurt I am nervous too. I really don't know any German. I love my doctor and he speaks perfect english but the nurses don't. That is what I am worried about.

Ya I don't want to be there long either. I have heard they don't normally do circumcisions so that was nice to hear. One less thing to have to worry about.

they do like a half circumsision from what my friend told me , well they wanted to do that to her son, they drew pictures for her lmao of the half and the full one. i guess its a german thing to be half circumsized?? lol but eh she was like i want him fully circumsized, my son wasnt done in fla but htey didnt wanna risk an infection,
im wondering if they can forcefully keep ya in the hospital or if u say u wanna leave they can let you? i mean id wanna leave asap if there arent any problems of any sort y aknow>?

I haven't heard of a half one, hmm...I wonder if they do tha here.

My friend had a C-section and could leave after less than 2 days so I am hoping that means I could too. Maybe it depends on the doctor?
