It's STILL snowing here..it's that heavy wet nasty snow. In other words, power is precarious, we already lost it once. This is *NOT* a good time for a homebirth, and if I were to go into labour I would have to meet my midwife at the hospital via ambulance because our car is not equipped to drive in it (they dont know what a snow plow is off of mount washington I guess)
So If you dont hear from me it means one of two things: Baby or my power is out. I'll *try* to check in throughout the day...but just letting you know, it's that nasty wet icky snow....the stuff that snaps hydro lines..
I'm gonna bang out a rudementary birth plan in MS word and while DH keeps the driveway clear (No I'm not in labour yet, but it's a basic safety precaution to allow ambulance access)
I want this baby to stay in at least till this is gone, West Coasters dont know how to drive in this stuff...(no offense lol, I"ve lived here on and off most of my life, I KNOW West Coasters dont know squat about driving in snow)

as for me I live in snow have lived in snow country all my driving years. And hey Neutral works really well on hills as you keep taping on the breaks, hope that baby stays a bit longer
