I'm beginning to think about what to pack for my hospital stay. What's going in your bag?

I have not packed my bag yet, but I do plan to do that tomorrow. I don't plan on bringing much. I hope to not be there long! I like to labor at home as long as possible and have never used any of the labor aids I packed with my previous two births, so I don't plan to pack any this time. I usually wear the hospital gowns while I am there so I don't have to worry about soiling my own. I may bring one pair of nursing pajamas just in case I want them. I will pack something comfy to wear home and bring all my toiletries (especially chapstick). I will pack a few depends. I like to wear them pp for the first few days. I will bring that baby book, digital camera, disposible camera just in case, and some change for the vending machines. That is all I can think of right now.
My dh is leaving for a 5 day business trip tomorrow, so after I get his packing done I plan to tackle my own. Lets just pray I don't need it while he is gone!

I am planning to bring:
- A book and some music to distract myself from the early stages (but who knows if my experience will allow for distractions
: )
- A nightgown, robe and slippers. I will wear the hospital gowns but want something nicer for photos.
- Sanitary pads, underwear and a nursing bra
- Toothbrush/toothpaste, lip balm and other toiletries
- Outfit to wear home. I read somewhere that the fit should be what one wore in the 4th to 5th month of pregnancy.
- A few diapers for the baby. I know the hospital will provide, but just in case.
- Outfit for the baby to wear home, including blanket and hat
- Insurance card
Dh will have the camera, snacks, etc.

I packed the baby's bag this weekend, but haven't packed mine yet.
Here's what's in the baby's bag:
Outfit to bring him home in, but it may change depending on when he's born. If I go into labor on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, he'll have a santa hat and a "Mommy's Cutest Gift" sleeper.
A couple of extra sleepers
A few diapers and wipes
Two hats
Two pairs of socks
Sleepsack
Swaddling blanket
Soft, fabric-covered rattle
His coat
Here is what I have on my list to pack in my bag:
camera and extra batteries
Blistex
HUGE nalgene bottle filled with water
energy bars
comfy PJs
An outfit to wear home
Makeup
Hairbrush
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Shampoo and conditioner
An extra nightgown as I'll be wearing hospital gowns for the birth
CDs
Vitamins
Nursing pads
Lansinoh

I usually pack way too much crap! So I'm trying not to think about it, but--the hospital where I delivered before cranks the heat up A LOT, so if you bring your own jammies, don't bring super heavy ones because you'll be too hot!

I am birthing at home but have a transport bag packed just in case. In it is:
FOR ME
birth wishes sheet
nursing gown
nursing bra
nursing pads/soothies
breast pump (in case we transport for baby and I need to pump instead of feed- I prefer my own pump to a hospital pump)
undies
comfy outfit (i choose not to wear hospital gown)
travel kit (toothbrush/paste, contact stuff, shampoo, lotions, etc)
will throw in at the last minute (since they will be used during the labor): camera, lavender oil, rice pack, pics/affirmations/birth beads
FOR BABY
outfit/sleeper
a couple of diapers

I packed WAY in advance with dd and the last weekend I thought.....hmmm..I had dd at 37 weeks and I'm 37 weeks today, maybe I should think about throwing a few things in my bag!
Anyway, right now I have:
2 sleepers for the baby
2 hats for the baby
blankie
underwear for me
shirt
nursing bra, breast pads
pj's for me
socks, couple pair
a few mama cloth
Our hospital gave me pretty much everything I needed last time. We plan to use sposies at the hospital, so I didn't pack any dipes. At the last minute I'll throw in our camera, calling card (can't use cell phone at hospital!!!), phone list, toiletries and some stuff for dh.

I'm packing tomorrow. My doctor called me tonight at home to tell me that a urine screening I had done this weekend is showing protein . . . and more than just a trace. I'm headed in for an appointment tomorrow, and I have a feeling things may be happening sooner than later.
Here's what's going in the bag:
toiletries
an outfit to wear home
extra socks
undies
nursing bra (they are being shipped . . . hopefully the arrive in time)
two cameras
battery charger
extra lenses
journal and pen
four baby outfits . . . one for his photo and the others for my older two to pick from as far as what he gets to wear home
big brother/sister tshirts and gifts from the baby
my pillow--the hospital ones are never as nice
may have DH bring in my black background in case I feel like doing a newborn shoot in the hospital
