nerd vest for babywearing

Hi all--just wanted to share a small tip. I'm never sure what to wear under and over my baby when we go for walks. In the cool fall weather, if I dress for it and then wear a cardigan over both of us, I get too hot if I'm walking briskly, but if I don't wear a sweater, then I have to get the baby all separately bundled up which gets bulky under the carrier plus is extra work. So my husband has a fleece zip-up vest which I affectionately call his "nerd vest." Yesterday I wore it and zipped it up over ds. Perfect. Kept him nice and toasty, but I was cool enough without the extra layer on my arms.

good idea!
you can also buy the nori coat, which is a vest, and made for babywearing specifically.

I just got one and I love it. I used it last weekend in about 20 degree weather and it worked great! It shipped super fast too. I plan on using it this weekend a lot because we are going out of town and we have some outdoor activities planned
