How to soak almonds?

I've heard that soaking nuts will help with digestability and absorbtion of nutrients. How do you do this? OK, I know I need to soak the nuts in water but for how long? Then what? Do I dehydrate them? I don't have a good dehydrator - could I dry them out in the oven? Is this a good rule for all nuts or just some? (we eat mostly almonds and walnuts)
TIA,
Erin

First, you'll want to be sure to buy raw nuts. I can't get skinless almonds and tbh I think the skin on skin off thing with them is up for debate. Next you'll want to put the nuts in a bowl with some filtered water and sea salt. I believe it's 4cups of nuts to 2t (?) of salt and then cover with filtered water. I put a towel over mine and let it sit for 7 hrs to 24 hrs. Then you'll drain the water off and then either dry in a dehydrator or an oven until dry (12-24 hrs depending on your indoor climate). The key will be to keep the oven under 150 deg.
