I always wondered how in the hell bottlefeeding moms soothed their fussy infants. Boobs were a lifesaver for me...I was distressed when ds self weaned at 25 mos., thinking, "what am I gonna do NOW when he has a tantrum?"

My 15 month old doesn't nurse, hasn't since I lost my milk during pregnancy. Life is rather umm....hellish. I'm determined to nurse Henri until he graduates from college

I was at a baby shower for my friend and I brought Jessa when she was just a little over age 1. They put orange soda in baby bottles and everyone had to race to see who could drink it the fastest. Someone (maybe it was me? I deny it) gave dd a bottle so she could play too and everyone was saying "no fair! she has an advantage over us! she has a head start!" and I was like, well actually no, this is her first bottle LOL
