I Have a Little Lactivist

We were in the supermarket today and DD who's 3 1/2 saw a woman FF her baby. She walked over and said, "Your baby is so cute. But don't you know breastmilk is the best food you can feed a baby? Look, my Mommy is breastfeeding my little brother right now!" The woman didn't get mad, she thought it was cute. I was so happy that DD is picking up on nursing and how natural and wonderful it is.

Isn't it cute when the little ones say it to someone. My DD (5) walked up to my aunt who was preparing a bottle and said "you know breastmilk is best" and walked away.

I love it when our children are little lactivists.

A few months ago there was some commercial on TV, for detergent or something, and it showed a mama giving her baby a bottle. My 2 1/2 year old DD said in her sternest voice, "NO bottles! Just nursies for babies!" I about fell off the couch laughing.

It makes me feel good too to hear my boys say that there wives will breastfeed.
