I've been watching the weather reports and thinking of you. I hope you and your family are doing well!

Yeah it's crappy here.

See, it wouldn't be so bad if people knew how to drive in it. But they dont. So it sucks.

We've got the same it's-snowing-and-I-don't-know-how-to-drive-in-it-but-am-going-out-anyway people here in Massachusetts, too. They're the ones who go out in rear-wheel drive cars under very stormy conditions but decide they can go 50mph anyway.

Hang in there, Pandora.

Dude that's %95 of the population of this valley...

At least in MA, the majority of the folk know how to drive and handle a vehicle in winter conditions..here in this area..notsomuch.

Those who belong to the military, who come from other parts of Canada, they know how to drive in this crap..but...OY!

The elementary school was open yesterday, and my DH was hung up in his car for 45 minutes after he got off work, due to the Soccer Mom Ice Capades.

Yeah, the mom's who drive and pick up their little darlings from school because the bus, and walking are just not good enough or something..(they have this habit of blocking everyone's driveways while waiting too)

Well one broad took out a section of fence with her SUV because she took a turn too tight. There were like at least 20 fender benders because they didn't know how to pump their brakes...

It was just...breathtaking.

DH was held up for 45 minutes (as well as other people on his shift) while the MP's and the tow truck drivers and CE cleaned up the mess...

Yeah, if I birth during the Soccer Mom Parade, and I need a transfter, the FIRST people I'm gonna call is the MP's so they can clear the Soccer Mom's away from my route to the hospital...

LMAO! I know exactly what you are talking about!
We live in Manitoba- you'd think they'd know how to drive in this stuff here. Nope! During my dh's 10 min drive home from work yesterday he saw 3 trucks fish-tailing, 1 car hit the ditch, and someone slide through a stop sign. This isn't even our first snow! I didn't think the drivers could get much worse than those in Michigan, but I'm wondering...

Midwives just called to discuss what the plan is if i go into labour in the next 48hrs.

It's "Call the ambulance because we wont drive in this and meet you at the hospital" She's like "That's what I wanted to hear."

So, her orders, so we can still have this kid at home:

No Sexx0rs for 24hrs

No doing ANYTHING....I'm gonna go play FF 12....with the buggle...

Lots of water, and hot baths, and possible a glass of wine *WHAAAAAT!!!*

so there....

I'm off the pC for the day to chill..
