36 wk apt update!!! hehe

so they listened to the heartbeat for half an hr all was well, the baby was asleep so she kept shaking my belly to wake her up lol . they did the ultrasound too, she estimated the baby at 6lbs 2oz right now , still head down and its clear its a girl she could see it really good today im a lil mad they didnt check my cervix they usually do cuz at every appointment they have but today she said she didnt have to cuz she did last time lol. but omg im afraid im gonna have a 10 lbs kid if i make it to 40 weeks lol. and here they dont beleive in epidurals either so woohoo this is gonna be fun if this baby grows bigger lol.
but all is well and baby jordynne elizabeth is doing good and still head down way down there
4 more weeks to go.
i go to the dr again in 10 days!

Glad it was a good appt! I wouldn't worry too much about the weight- babies usually gain 1/2lb a week from here on out, which will probably put your baby at the 7-8lb range. Ultrasounds can be totally off on weight as well. And, weight at birth doesn't have too much bearing on pain- a small or large baby in a good position, with mama being able to move as she likes and not be strapped to a bed has the biggest bearing on pain.

Also on checking your cervix- it is good to have some indication that there are cervical changes happening in a first time mom. But, you could be 1 that day at the office and go into that night, or 3 at the office and not go into labor for weeks. So try to take it one day at a time, and trust your body!

yeah , this is my 2nd child i have a 15 mth old son , i went 40 wks and 2 days with him and he was 8 lbs 9 oz they thought the night i was in labor they estimated by feeling 7 and a half lbs so yeah we will see what the next month brings
