Tell me to get off my butt

My kids are playing so nicely together and have been all day. DS has a snowday and we're just chilling. So WHY am I sitting on my butt instead of doing all the 100s of things I could be doing? Granted, my butt is pretty comfy on my birth ball in front of MDC eating brownies, but still....tell me to get moving! Get cleaning! Get doing something productive!

Oh great, DS wants to paint totem poles....ack, paint. Why do my kids have to be so darn creative? Why can't they just sit and watch public tv like everyone else's kids?

LOL, I would be a hypocrite if I told you to get off your butt!!! I am glued to MDC even though I have a long list of things to do.

...That's because the poor butt has to follow the increasing weight inside a formerly light belly. It is now woefully out of balance and just too darned pooped (no pun intended!)

Besides, if there ever was an excuse for idleness, it's being in your last week of pregnancy. I say eating brownies and MDC are activity enough.

Guys, you're not helping!! Really, I swear, I DO have things to do. Things that I must do before baby comes. Like, vacuum once more, dust once more, check the mailbox.....seriously, I may just end up here all day. What will I tell dh when he asks how my day was?

I am not telling you to get off of your butt, because were I to do so, it would imply that *I* need to get off of *my* butt and I don't wanna.

Are you getting tired really easily now too????

Tell your dh: it was WONDERFUL!

Sorry, I can't tell you to get off your butt. After the torture I put myself through this weekend, I'd much rather tell you to take it easy!!!

ETA: I want some brownies!!!!!!

Ok, don't hate me...But I don't think you need to dust or vacuum once more. I have a feeling that your house is clean enough as mine is by now. I would get up to check the mail. That's my major thing; I am compulsive about paying bills on time.

If dh asks about your day, tell him you're one closer to bringing the baby out into the world.

I get really tired these days too... I see all these little toys on the floor and it is so difficult to pick them up--bending over is a challenge. I made my 2.5 year olds bed last night and I swear I'm not making another bed until this baby is born!

I have some friends/family pitching in on a cleaning service for our place for 2 months after baby is born. I used to fantasize about massages and hot tubs, now it is having a professional clean my place! Not the bedrooms, but the kitchen, bathroom and livingroom

I'm thinking about having them do the initial big clean before baby is born--but not sure if I can get another 2 weeks of DH cleaning the place up after he is done with school and then put off the big clean--stretch it out a bit...
