Here is a quote from her from an interview.

http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/Artists/S/...0/2560877.html

"The transition of having the baby was, like, flawless. Like, no transition. He was there and then it was just natural. He cries and talks. He's got two little teeth. I think he definitely knows that I'm someone special and that I feed him. I'm the milk cow"

awww! i've never been a fan of gwen stefani, but i've been happy to see her wearing her son and now knowing she breastfeeds! i hope she keeps it up for a long time!

this bothered me: looking impossibly glamourous -- in shorts and high heels -- for a breast-feeding mother. What a BF mom can't/should not look good?

Good for her! And I agree with the previous poster: why can't a nursing mom look good?!

I didn't see that part! Yeah, that's a bit off.

Yes, didn't you get the memo, usually bf'ing moms are frumpy and horrible-looking, lol? (j/k...).

Good for her to talk about feeding her baby and having her with him. I remember seeing a lot of pix of her with babe in a sling as well. Maybe she is superwoman!

Reason #586739586 why Gwen rocks! I have loved her since the early days of No Doubt. I always had this feeling like we could totally hang out and be friends.

Hey if you had staff to help you get ready every day, you'd look glamorous too. :

That is so cool! I just wanna know how they get rid of the weight so fast. Not tthat I mind how I look post pregnancy, it just doesn't seem safe to loose 40 lbs in less than 6 months and be breastfeeding. Especially since she had a c-section.

Post-baby weight loss varies so much from person to person. Just because someone loses the weight fast, doesn't mean it was done in an unhealthy way or is unsafe. For some people, the weight just falls off, especially if they are breastfeeding. I am almost 3 months post partum now, but within 2 months I had lost 25 of the 30 lbs I gained during pregnancy. And I've just been eating healthy, but not exercising at all. Same thing happened with my first pregnancy which was a c-section.

Yeah I lost almost all my preg weight by 6 weeks and I didn't do anything but eat, sleep, and breastfeed.

is she nursing? I never ever see her with the baby - unlike Gwen Stefani....

with my first pregnancy I weighed 3 pounds less than I did before I got pregnant a week after giving birth

with my second I didn't lose an ounce for 3 years... so go figure.

Yep, me too. Though a third of the weight I gained was pure baby so I'm sure that helped too.

I'm pretty positive she just has a chef to cook for her and then bfing... She is awesome IMO. Always doing her own thing, and rocking while doing it. Plus, she's a self identified nerd. I've been a fan for years, and I just become more and more impressed with her as time goes on.

I am so happy to hear that she is continuing to breast-feed her son, hopefully she will go at least a year and really am hoping for over that!!!
