Shamelessly stolen from the January DDC that stole it from another DDC! We may have done something similar to this in the beginning but I thought we would do it again as there are some new people and we are getting close to the end! Plus I am so bored!

3. How many children and ages? 3 kids - 7 as of tomorrow, 4, 2

4. How many children do you want? Well we have said 4-6 but with this pg I am thinking 4! It has been a hard one!

5. Occupation: SAHM

6. Favorite movie: This is a difficult one. I don't think I really have a favorite exactly!

7. Favorite Book: I have lots of these too. Right now I have been reading The Northern American Indian series written by The Gears, I think it is. I really like that they try to stay true to the real lives of these tribes when they lived freely.

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? I am a beach person so maybe some tropical island somewhere though I love being near any water and would gladly settle for a cabin by a river.

9. Something interesting about yourself: I traveled with 3 of my friends from TN throughout the west visiting what felt like a million national parks. 2 weeks on $200 each, sleeping in a hotel once otherwise in the car, and taking 2 showers the entire time! We had so much fun!

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! I am ready for Christmas to be over so I can start focusing on getting ready for this baby!

We always thought one....now this one is not even here and were thinking at least 2

5. Occupation:
I used to own a hip organic/fairtrade coffee / bagel shop... It was well loved by the community but too much work / stress for me (4 am every morning) So I sold last Feb to relax and try to start a family. We make so much less money and I am grateful for every lost cent...I'm so much happier! Currently I'm not working and hope to stay that way for the next year (fingers crossed)

6. Favorite movie:
As of somewhat recently my fave is Everything is Illuminated....It's great, a must see

7. Favorite Book:
Hmmmm....I'll get back to you on that....currently I've only been reading baby info books. I love books that take me on a journey to other exotic cultures & lands....Isabel Allende is an author that I really love......

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be?
I love to travel......Brazil.....Portugal....Italy....India. ......Morrocco......ohhhh, the list goes on & on......

9. Something interesting about yourself:
I've traveled and lived extensively throughout Indonesia & Central & South America & (used to be) fluent in Spanish & Indonesian. I love to design things....everything from elaborate, fantastical costumes to company "images" to home interiors. I love yardsales!

I'm so grateful for this online community....where I live there aren't too many moms into slinging, cloth diapering etc. I am in heaven with this pregnancy and can't wait to meet my baby face to face....I am also scared / anxious to see that it is mentally / physically healthy.

3. How many children and ages? 3 little girls, ages 10, 5 and 2 (plus 2 guinea pigs and 2 border collies, we have a full house!)

4. How many children do you want? Not really sure, we have no plans to do any permanent sterilization, but I think at most we'll have 1 more after this one.

5. Occupation: full-time mom, part-time draftsperson (I'm quitting my job at the end of the year...hurray!)

6. Favorite movie: I don't watch very many movies, I like the LTR series, but I don't know what my favorites movie is in general.

7. Favorite Book: I'm currently reading the earthsea series by Ursula K. Le Guin, and loving it.

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? Oh, anywhere, really, we haven't been on a vacation since DD#2 was born.

9. Something interesting about yourself: I used to be an architect (DH & I met in architecture school) and some day we hope to have our own business and work together (although I don't think it will happen for 10 years or so).

4. How many children do you want? Well, one would've been fine, but we're getting two. And now I'm having anxiety because I thought FOR SURE I had a girl and feel 'unfinished' ????

5. Occupation: WAH glass artist-I sell jewelry across the nation to galleries and museums and nature centers. My specialty is glass Monarch chrysalis.

6. Favorite movie: I dunno. I'm more into genre. I love enhanced martial art films like Matrix and Crouching Tiger. Our kids will probably learn Mandarin Chinese from all our flicks.

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? We have family in southern France and I love escaping there, but rarely can afford to go.

9. Something interesting about yourself: Before I did hot glass I was a stained glass artist doing new and restoration work. We would erect and climb up to 6 levels of scaffold and have to hammer the glaze inches from century old church windows. It was an intense and very educational job.

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! I write art-business articles for a lampwork glass magazine and hope someday to write a book about the 'meaning of life'. I put it on hold when I realized that I really didn't have a proper perspective until I became a mother. :

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? I would love to trek through Turkey and Greece. Or go back to Ireland at a more opportune time (without an 11 mo old in tow) and see the whole country.

9. Something interesting about yourself: My husband is an Anglican (Episcopalian) priest. I love trying any kind of art or craft, but usually each fad peters out in a few years, leaving me with another stash of stuff to pass on and a few half-finished projects.

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us: It has been FREEZING here the last few weeks and I'm getting very cranky about it. Also, I love MDC, its been my total support network with ds -- around here most people don't beleive in high needs children, just soppy parents.

5. Occupation: Attorney -- I'm a litigator at a big New York law firm. They own me.

7. Favorite Book: Also, hard to pick a favorite. I really enjoyed a Prayer for Owen Meany and other John Irving books (Cider House Rules and Widow for One Year).

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? I'm dying to go to Brazil, Morocco and Turkey. Also, DH is South African, and we've travelled a bit through Southern Africa. It is always great and I look forward to going back.

9. Something interesting about yourself: In addition to being a lawyer, I'm also a fitness instructor and am still teaching spin and kickboxing. I hope to be able to keep it up until as close to the end as possible!

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! We've done absolutely nothing to prepare for this baby. Still have no name, haven't done anything to the room (it is still a study/place we throw everything -- space in NYC is tight!), haven't bought a single thing. And, I'm not the least bit stressed about it! Somehow, I think it will all get done.
