9. Something interesting about yourself:
I think it's really interesting that I've survived almost 5 weeks of bedrest...

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us!
That I'm counting down the weeks until I'm no longer couch-bound... But that I'm also nervous about having two boys to keep up with!

However, I still want to see Italy, England, Ireland, China, Australia, Thailand- basically everywhere.

9. Something interesting about yourself: The first night I met DH in late October I flat out refused to give him my number. He persued me and two days later I finally called him after much debate. After dating for 6 weeks and having very lukewarm feelings for him, I decided he was worth keeping around after all. We were in love by Christmas. He is hands down the best thing that ever happened to me. I guess your soulmate does not necessarily have to be "love at first sight".

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! I want this baby to come NOW. Well, not premature, but I'm so ready to meet him/her. I want to know the sex! I want to cuddle with the baby! I want to hold him/her and breastfeed! We're not really physically ready yet, but emotionally I'm so there.

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! My friends call me "hardy" because I grew up in a part of Michigan that can get over 250 inches of snow in a winter. I am half Finnish so maybe that's why I don't mind the cold, but I absolutely hate being hot! (Unless I'm in a good wood-fired sauna, then I like it about 170...)

1. Name/Screen name: Yonit/Yonit - And since I know you are ALL pronouncing it wrong - here is a quick and easy pronouciation guide: "yo-neice" with the stress on the first syllable. I know it ends in a T, but it is a weird Hebrew thing. Yona is the Hebrew word for "dove" and yonit in particular is the dove that Noah flew off the ark.

2. How old are you and your dh/partner/significant other?: Me - 39 in a couple of weeks, dh - 44

7. Favorite Book: I love good fiction, especially good historical fiction. James Michener is probably my favorite author, but also John Irving, Amy Tan and lots of others... I doubt I could choose one book, although I really loved "Gone With the Wind".

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? Hmmm..I love to travel, and have been to 5 of 7 continents. But I don't see a lot of travel anytime in the near future. Right now, I would just love a relxing vacation at a spa somewhere.

9. Something interesting about yourself: When I was growing up my mother was an elected state official. I couldn't go anywhere without someone asking me if we were related. There were lots of benefits, and I really enjoyed it for the most part. But as soon as I was old enough, I moved far away to where my last name would no longer be known- so that I could become my own person.

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! I have written an article in the current issue of "Natural Jewish Parenting" This is sort of like Mothering, only geared to Jewish parents - and has subscribers all over the world. So it is very exciting!

9. Something interesting about yourself: I love crafting, I love being a SAHM, and would love to someday start up some sort of crafting bussiness (nothing big though). I used to be Ultra Gothic and I'm now only a little. I have 7 tattoos and have had many different hair colors. I have some piercings too.

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! Last time I was completely unhappy being pg (not with my dd, just a HARD pg) and this time I'm actually enjoying myself. Yes, it has it's downsides and bad days, but it's amazing to me just how comfortable I am this time.

1. Name/Screen name: Beth/MotherWren. Wren is my middle name. I have a painting of a pregnant Wren (the bird)...she is a Mother Wren and so am I.

2. How old are you and your dh/partner/significant other?: 32/31. I'll be 33 on 1/1 ~ (New Years baby)

3. How many children and ages? My son is 2.

4. How many children do you want? Geez I didn't plan the one(s) I have! Although I do feel that 2 is enough. I'm actually wondering how I am going to do this...

5. Occupation: SAHM now but previously social work, bartending (fun ).

6. Favorite movie: Bram Stokers Dracula, and I don't like horror flicks...just something about Gary Oldman....that scene where they drink Absinthe and Winona Ryder remembers being his princess in a past life...him turning her tears to diamonds in his hand....and how he looks as the young prince with the long hair. Oy!

7. Favorite Book: Omg too many! Um as far as personal development I would have to say the Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz. I like novels too..Anne Tyler, Joyce Carol Oates, Isabel Allende, Rosamunde Pilcher. Also metaphysical/supernatural type stuff.

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? We used to go to the Outer Banks of North Carolina every year but since losing my Dad suddenly 2 weeks before my son was born, I am too sad to go back. It was our place. I'd love to see Europe though...trace my Welsh heritage perhaps.

9. Something interesting about yourself: I'm not thrilled about being pregnant. Don't get me wrong. I will be just as obsessed with this baby as I am with the one I already have. But it really kind of sux. I'd be happy never doing this again. But I believe that everything happens for a reason so no permanent birth control (I think ) .

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! I won an award in college for my photography. I have an AA in fine art and a BS in psychology. I'm studying chakras. I hate summer and I am the only person I know (except DH) who feels that way. I even have a nice inground pool. I just can't stand to be uncomfortable. The sun is opressive to me. I'm much more of a snuggle by the fireplace type. It's snowing out now and I love it!
I have a ton of weight to lose which bums me out.
I don't eat meat but I do eat seafood. I have guilt all the time about motherhood, not doing enough with my son (as I sit here at the computer!).
I collect dishes. I get pissed when my MIL serves food in aluminum foil or even regular bakeware for Thanksgiving (any time, but especially on a holiday). Ok apparently I could go on all day so I'll stop!
MotherWren, I hate being hot too!! I like it when it's raining and about 40-50 degrees out. That's a perfect day for me. Fog is a nice addition to that too! I definitely like tea/soup/hot chocolate weather.

1. Name/Screen name: Heather/Bikruca

1. Name/Screen name: Tegan/Intuition.

2. How old are you and your dh/partner/significant other?: We're both 27.

3. How many children and ages? We have one son, who will be 4 in March.

4. How many children do you want? We always said 3 or 4, but somehow, since I got pregnant, 2 feels right. We're open to whatever happens.

5. Occupation: SAHM

6. Favorite movie: I think the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is just gorgeous.

7. Favorite Book: I could read the Harry Potter books over and over and over. And I have.

8. If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? England. The majority of my family is there.

9. Something interesting about yourself: I've won awards and been on TV for my artwork when I was younger (in highschool), but am still too scared as an adult to go out and do something with it. I haven't drawn/painted in a very long time, and I am trying to move past the irrational fear and do what feels right to me.

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! We have no name, haven't bought anything, and haven't even really looked for baby things. We have an awful lot of stuff from my son to pass down, and my MIL is buying me a sling and some diapers, but we've been really lazy. My son is very excited about baby coming; as are we. I am much more relaxed this time around. And I'm ready for this one to come out! I have a strong gut feeling that it's another boy. I also have fears of labour, as I will be doing it in a birth centre, in water. My last birth was induced, with a lot of interventions (I had toxaemia), and I wonder what it will be like to begin labour on my own, and whether or not I can deal with it. I'm constantly visualising the birth I want.

10. Anything else you'd like to share with us! I'm ready for this baby to be here! (although not until after we get back from a New Year's trip to Boston... my dh is worried the baby will be born on I-35 driving home from the airport. Considering my brother was born in a car, this isn't out of the question.).
