Well we just got home from the hospital, and I wanted to jump on a post quick that we had our baby boy, Melvin John (named after both grandfathers), was born on November 28th at 6:28 PM. He is doing wonderful after a shaky start. He was 7 lbs 3 oz and 19 3/4 inches. I will post his birth story when I feel better, I have a 3rd degree tear, needed 3 layers of stiches, and basically tore my ENTIRE perinium. Ice packs are my friend right now! Can't wait to hear about all the new additions in December!

Welcome mister Melvin John!!!

Congratulations on your wee one.

Hope the tears heal well. FWIW, keep those cold packs ready for a few days down the road when the stitches ache. Soaking cloth pads in witch hazel and then freezing them helped me loads at that stage of healing.

Congrats! I hope the tear heals well. Is this your first? Sorry, I just stumbled in here. How's breastfeeding going? Are you adjusting well to being a new mom? Boys are so fun, I have 2. Love every inch of him, he's perfect just how he was meant to be, I'm sure.

I though My sister was so funny when she made pads and froze them. After the birth I was so thankful.
Take it easy. Enjoy your new little bug!
