What are you craving?

I have no desire to cook, at all, what-so-ever. I'm a total slacker lately. Flylady keeps reminding me "what's for dinner?" & I keep deleting her. I just want one of a few things....

sushi (specifically a crystal shrimp roll....something I'd have to travel 8 hours to get)

pizza (veggie only, thankyouverymuch)

Subway Club sandwich with extra peppers & onions (both of which I don't like normally but seem to NEED right now )

What are you craving?

Everything unhealthy :

I just cannot stomach vegetables or salad right now. I don't know why, for most of my pregnancy I wanted them. Now it's all fats and sweets and junk carbs I'm craving.

I'm thinking about getting some fruit and stuff to make smoothies-- it's healthy and goes down easy. I find I'm getting nauseous again, I don't know what that is all about!

I'm not pregnant anymore, but I'm still super hungry. What sounds good to me-- baked sweets. I managed to eat so well while pregnant, but I have been caving a bit now that I'm "just" breastfeeding

Doesn't help with the holidays around .. pumpkin pie, breads, etc.

Shockingly, I ended up being one of those women who could fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes as soon as I gave birth. Now I'm sort of nervous that I will also be one of those women who gains weight while breastfeeding. Oh well!

Sushi! All the super good raw stuff that I've only had the teensiest of nibbles of since getting pregnant. I even dreamed the other night that I was sitting in the center of a round table, on a stool that turned surrounded by spicy rainbow rolls! Oh, and beer!

But as far as cravings I'll actually induldge in - just about anything pumpkin flavored.

Up until last week, I craved everything sweet and caloric. But as of a few days ago, my stomach seems to have shrunk; baby's taking up a lot of room. I can hardly fit a bit of pie in there, but this won't stop me from trying.

I've been craving scotcheroos. It's like a ricekrispie treat with peanut butter instead of marshmallow. Then (I love this part) you melt butterscotch chips and chocolate chips together and pour it on top. I like to crush up a candy cane and sprinkle that on the chocolate mix before it hardens. Oh so tasty! I broke down and made some tonight!

Mmmmm....those are SOOO GOOD!! We call them K bars though (not sure why??). They never last longer than a day here !

Oooh, that sounds good! I've never had it but I LOVE pomegranate's. Is it tart? Do you get a blend or mix it with anything? Over ice?

I think a trip to the store is in order.

I read somewhere if you're craving sweets it's because of a lack of protein. I know places like TJ's sell some good protein bars that taste yummy & so you get your sweet fix, too.

Sorry the nausea has returned. No fun!

I had to this thread, because now instead of sweets I am craving avocadoes (salted, eaten right out of the shell with lemon juice), Orange juice for the first time in my pregnancy, and Half sour pickles!!!!

I feel like such a stereotypical PG woman.... i mean come on, pickles? :

nothing. water, anything that stays down- having bad luck with meats and such. I wish I didn't have to eat, ever. ugh.

I'm having issues with raw veggies and salad, too. : Wish I wanted them! I'm trying hard to keep that protein thing going, but I made some french fries yesterday (I tossed them in olive oil and baked them -- yum!). I had to stop myself from eating them all...but they call to me from the fridge!

I want everything then can eat 2 bites of it and DONE - especially later in the day. Dry cereal is one thing I actually crave. I also crave sushi and avacados like PP. Today I got some Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream. Between ds and I we ate about 1/8 cup before my stomach was too full. I've read that your stomach is the size of your fist (non-pregnant). Well, I think mine is the size of my new baby's fist right now!! The worst thing is EVERYTHING looks good - I just can't eat it!
