Well it is cycle day 30 here and I think I'm 2 DPO. This has been a crummy couple days. Several things have happened that have prevented a possible conception. I am pretty certain we missed the egg this month. I'm in the TTW but simply waiting for AF so we can start over. This really sucks because my cycles are so long it will be next year before I O again and the chance for babes <2 years apart is pretty well gone. I was pretty depressed today (partly because of the things that came up) but am working on my positive attitude. So on the up side it looks like my cycle will be shorter this month again (maybe a wonderful trend!!) and I am hoping for just an extra LP day this cycle. Come on 10 day LP!! So who else plans on being around in January?!?

Rachel, I think I had you move me to the TTW a while ago when everything was screwy but if not I'm pretty certain I actually belong there now. Thanks! You are doing a great job with the thread!

Hi sarahn4639!! Thanks for the very kind words! I really do appreciate it! I have been trying to keep up with the posts several times a day... even if it is a minute here and a minute there.
I am sorry that you are feeling down today!! BIG HUGS to you!!! I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you will not have a long cycle.. but a 10 day LP!!!
I am doing okay.... thank you for asking... I have been mostly just reading everyone's posts here and hangin out... I am on CD8, not much baby making going on right now... waiting for some O signs.. I know that I have a while to go yet.

sarahn4639, so sorry to hear that! Not much fun at all. We're getting to the point where ours won't be the under 2 years we wanted either. But i guess that'll be ok, my grace will get me that much longer. Bittersweet isn't it?

I'm kinda bummed that i'm not showing fertile signs more. I was hoping i'd o on time, but it looks, as of now, like i may not. I have the full ferning, but cm just isn't there, neither is cp. darnit!

I'm a big dork for not keeping up on this thread. I'm always on the One thread but when I read your posts over here I feel all, "Aaaaahhh, other women with the same confusion over their unpredictable breastfeeding bodies! Hooray, I'm not alone!" I'm on my 4th PP cycle, the others running from 30-55 days long. I'm at cd35 & am completely clueless. No signs of af, I now have no idea if/when I O'd, my temps tell me nothing, I keep thinking I'm feeling pg symptoms but they always disappear 2 days later, & all I ever get are bfns. RAWR!!

So anyway, I just needed to get that out & join y'all here again. You can move me to waiting to know, please (because I'm waiting to know SOMETHING, ANYTHING!). I wish it were easier to be patient.

Zjande:I'm right there with you sista!!! I'm on CD 41 and no sign of AF either. : I'm on my 3rd ppaf and my last cycle was 43 days. I have taken 2 tests and both were BFN's. I know where you're coming from. You are no alone!!! to you!!!

Well, I am in a much better place today. I went for my b-day massage and I think that the quiet and relaxation helped me come to a more peaceful acceptance of what happened. Anyways, AF showed up this morning so we have a whole new month to try for.

Spotting this morning Trying to stay positive and think it MAY be implantation bleeding but deep down I really think af is just around the corner.
I've been "ready" emotionally for a new baby for about a year now. This is my 5th? ppaf. I guess my kids won't be even CLOSE to 2 years apart. I am starting to think I am on the 4 year program. On the bright side. I DO have a child, had a wonderful birth experience and likely WILL get preggers again, someday.

Cd 13. Not too much sign of impending O, other than the cp is going up. Not overly soft yet. Hopefully it won't be too late. Dd has stopped wanting to nurse as much during the day, so is down to just before bed and right when she wakes up. Hoping it'll help, but terribly sad that she's going through a strike.(May it please be temporary!)

Aimee, instructions on posting your chart in your siggy.

1) have two internet windows open one being your MDC profile and other being FF

2) click to edit your sig line as usual, at the top of the box there should be a little globe with a paperclip looking thing at the bottom. Click on that.

3) Go to your FF chart, on the left menu there is a box that says Sharing, move the mouse over that and click on RSS feed.

4) Copy the URL, with the exception of the very end part that is after the number. Very important, you need the URL through the number but not anything after that or it doesn't link properly

5) insert copied URL in to the "insert link" box on MDC user panel and hit okay.

You should get an underlined link directly to your chart. Let me know if that helps.

Also, if you want to have it linked through the chart symbol, insert the symbol in to your sig first and highlight it before clicking on the globe.

Let me know if that is too confusing and I can walk you through it on PM.

i will start TRYING to temp tomorrow

we are not getting good sleep -- and half the time i am really out of it -- so we will see

? -- I know you are supposed to take it at teh same time every day -- and before you get up

how important is the same time every day -- if it is always before you get up?

cuz i am thinking i will try to do it when DH's alarm goes off around 5; but i don't always hear it -- or on the onther hand sometime si have to fight DS to lay back down and nurse and got get up with daddy -- either way I'd miss my 5 am window.

or i can maybe do it when DS wakes and has breakfast, he nurses 15 to 30 minutes before we get up -- now i bet he'll be all over the themitoer adn that will lead to play time, not nurseing, so i don't know who that will work wither -- but taht would be 6:45 to 7.

so how much of an effect is that gonna be?

If you can take your temp within a decent timeframe (I think it's 30 min to 1 hr of your initial temp) FF will adjust it for you. So if some days it's 6:00 and some days it's 6:30 I think you would still be okay. But you want to do it before you get out of bed because even that can alter your temp a bit.

I'm no expert, but the first time around when I was charting, I was never good about always taking my temp at the same time. I woke up at different times due to varying times of needing to be in for work, needing to pee too close to wake-up time, etc. I just followed the rule that I not stand up (or even sit up if possible) before taking my temp. I noticed that it would be a bit higher if I took it later, but it wasn't a big deal. I had no trouble reading my chart despite the varying times. Note that I was just paper charting, not using FF.

what difference dod you notice -- if any -- or do you jsut hope they are effecting the reporduction tract?

What dose are you taking? (I am taking RRL supplments -- not tea -- i never get teh tea drank and I like sweet things andyway and I do not find any of the herb teas sweet)

Time of temps:
I think that I see a difference in temps if they are over an hour apart. It is usually only about .1 degree different though...If you can take them at the same time it is better and then you won't have another thing to worry about...ie. Is that temp higher/lower because it was at a different time or is it REALLY higher/lower? IYKWIM.

I can't really answer your question about supplements/herbs and timeframe. I am only taking Vitex of the herbs you mentioned and have only been taking it for 2-3 weeks but I can tell you that my naturopath said it can take 3 months to see a noticeable change. I have heard of women seeing steady improvements in balancing their cycles from the first cycle taking vitex though.
