Hello TTC Mommies!!! I have been M.I.A. for a little while trying to deal with the BFN I got on Thanksgiving. It hit me that hard. I was in a slump and was sad. :

It's now CD 36 and no AF. I'm crampy and have had an increase in appetite. I'm not charting temps so I don't know if I'm pg or getting AF

I'm so frustrated with this cycle! I just want it to be over with so I can have a clean slate. I want to be pg so badly but I don't know if I can test again or if it will just be another BFN. I don't know if I can take another BFN right now.

I'm so sorry that I haven't kept up with everyone. I hope you're all doing well. Welcome aboard to the newbies and here's some for everyone. I hope you all have good luck in December!!!

LOL Sarahn, no worries I just love stalking charts . But yes, FF is completely free for their basic programming which is all you really need IMHO. They give you the delux version for about a month free and then you have the option of a pretty cheap subscription cost or using the free software.

I would still recommend using it just to track the days of your cycle and CM. Plus if you use OPK you can put that in as well.

Dantesmama, off to check out your chart! Okay, I'm back and that is some pretty chart lady, great stalking material.

Aw Erin I'm sorry. It seems like a lot of girls are having the same issue with their cycles this month. Wonder what is up with that?

we are on teh SAME PAGE.

neg test on Thanksgivng day (and another monday of this week)

I am now on CD 35 -- no AF and monday's test was neg

I was actually jusr cominghere to post this --

so when should i test again?

last month was a 39 days cycle -- but i
am noramllaly 30 days to teh dot.

I don't chart -- i know i need to -- i just got in the mail the 30 o tests i ordered --the idea being i'd test every day this new cycle to be sure i am ing at all -- buttt till AF starts I can't do anything......

also yestreday a littl and really today -- nurseing hurts!!! (I am trying to drink more water and see if that is it).

so I don't knw what to think, I don't know if i should test again, i don't know what any of it means.

I am not so upset not o be pg -- I am upset about that, too 0- but the may thing i am upset about is that nothing seems to be workig right, i am so confused and getting so many mixed signlas.

So erin, dear, i KNOW just excately how you feel

Aimee, I vote for Cd39 or 40 if you can hold off that long! But my alterior motive is that is when I would be testing too.

On another note I am having BAD cramps and I know that doesn't mean that AF is for sure on her way but still, it is making me worry...

aimee: fertility friend has a charting course that is fairly informative. I went through the same thing you did my first pp cycle. It ended up being 47 days, and i have no idea if i o'd. I hope that isn't the case for you!

Carrie, come on already! TEST! You're making me crazy! (the new thread is up btw)

erinluvsken: sorry about the nasty bfn on thanksgiving. That happened to me a few times when ttc dd, and it's awful.

cd 8 (i think) so just waiting to o!

Aimee: I'm so sorry you're in the same situation. It's crappy enough being here alone. I don't wish this on anyone, but it is nice to know that you understand where I'm coming from! to you!!! I'm so sorry for your 2 BFN's!!!

I'm clueless about your testing question. I have 2 tests left and I'm afraid to waste them but I want to test too! I'm not sure when I should. I tested on Thanksgiving and that was the last one.

Does anyone have any advice for me and Aimee?

Ack, Jill I CAN'T. I am just dang scared that it will be a BFN. Plus with Landon I didn't get a BFP until I was like 14-15 DPO (estimated O date) and even then it was a LIGHT line. I only have two $Tree tests left under the sink. Okay hmm, we did just get paid today, and I do have to go get lunch and promised that I would walk with a friend from work to check out boots at one store. There IS a CVS right there, so I COULD stop and get one for lunch.

Would it work though if I pee now (cause I really need to ) and then drink and not pee for another few hours before I test? Should I go now, pretend that I don't have to pee/risk peeing on myself and see if I can hold it until we get back 9like 1 hr). Oh the agony

i have one test -- from my mom at teh hsoptial -- supposed to be sevsitive to 25......that is all that is int eh house, and all i have access to till Monday when we go to town to do our shopping and doc appt and so on......

??????????????????

not sure what to do

if this was first pp sycle -- i'd understnad. but I have been cycleing since 7 weeks pp -- and ds is now 12.5 months old. the first pp cycles were 2 weeks long, for 5 monhts, but since then they have been anice 30 just like before i got pg with Tho to start with -- then last month 39 and nw this month ?????

not sure where i stand............

Erin. Those bfn can really be crushing. I went through a mc and then 12 months of BFN's before my little guy. Every one sucked. But, now my little miracle man is feeding me his crackers. Keep the faith.

Aimee and Erin. I would wait a little while longer. You may have just O'd really late this month.

I think I had an anovulatory cycle this month. I had spotting this morning and feel af is approaching fast. I would normally have af this weekend so I guess we'll see.

Thanks Naturegirl for the advice. I guess I'll just wait a little longer. It's so hard though. I'm so sorry to hear about your MC and BFN's before your ds. You have a great outlook on it though. At the end of it all you got the best gift of all. That is how I should look at this whole thing. I've just been too emotional to "look on the bright side". Thanks for making me realize how lucky I am to have ds!!!!!!!!!

Aimee and ErinTo be perfectly honest with you, I'd test in the morning, but that's the way I am. Erin, it will have been 9 days since your last test, any idea how many DPO? I guess if you couldn't handle another neg right now I wouldn't risk it and just keep waiting. Amiee, if you could handle a neg it would be in the realm of possible to test again, how curious are you!

RachelThanks for the new thread! I think I can be moved the the TTW, I don't really know for sure but it won't hurt anything I guess! How's everything with you?

Thanks for the warm welcome, ladies! It's nice to see a group that has as many mixed signals as I do! I was looking at my FF chart (no temps, so I don't link to it - but I like to have a place to record everything) last night trying to figure out how long this cycle should be. My first PPAF was 55 days, then it has mostly gotten shorter (with one 2 days longer than the previous), and last month was right at 30 days. Before conceiving my 2nd DS, so this was back in 2003!!, I was at 28-30 days, every month. And with my first DS, my cycle went back to normal right away! Six months or so later, we had a BFP with DS2! Anyway, clearly it's impossible to know just what's going on!

For those whose cycles are going long with BFNs, what kinds of tests are you taking? I was reading somewhere that some of the $Tree tests were giving false negatives, but I don't know how widespread that is, and I confess it's not much more than a rumour! My personal thought would be to wait as long as possible. BUT, I *know* I'm one to POAS if I have it available!! I have none in the house right now (see above! ) and will not buy any until I'm pretty sure we need them, which won't be for at least 3 weeks. :

Okay ladies, update... A BFN, but that is OKAY. I bought the wrong freakin test! One that needed a high (50) amount of HCG and my urin would not have been concentrated enough even remotely. When I looked on POAS.com it got bad reviews, I should have known better but forgot to write down the name of the one I was SUPPOSED to get before I left.

So, the deal is I am testing tomorrow morning. We'll see. It would still be early to get a BFP so even if it is another - I'm not going to give up hope yet...

Sorry for your BFN! Does anyone have a current listing of test sensitivities? I have a link somewhere to a list, but it's at least 2 years old.

www.peeonastick.com has sensitivity levels as well as user ratings on all of the big name tests. I live there every once and a while
