i think i do better waitng to O -- at leat then i can be DOing something

the o test every day - the themping, the playing attentio and so that -- there is something to DO.

teh 2ww -- nothing to do but sit and wait and let your mind play a zillion tricks on you.

for example -- this is how bad i am -- i don't feel pregant !!! Not overly tired (I have a sick tot so i AM tired) but not the bone tired of the early pg with DS... my tummy is fine......breasts are a little tender.....soooooo i am not feeling pg, and that has me wondering alreay if this is another failed month. but i know i'd be messing with my own head just as much if i thought i was having pregant feelings.........so it is a no win situation..... my mind can create choas no matter what the set of facts it is givne..........

lol aimee. I can't plan too much because i don't know how long it will be.

I really wish cm would pick up. I guess i'm still ok- i didn't get watery cm until a couple of days before i o'd last clomid cycle.

I find the 2ww excruciating too. I just can't think about anything else...with dd but after our m/c, I kept feeling my breasts to see if they would be sore . Sometimes they were and sometimes they weren't...I think depending on the mood of the day : . I am finding the waiting to O difficult this time too...just not knowing if its going to happen or not. I mean, my cm has not changed and I am CD11. Arghhh...will it ever change? Isn't O usually around day 14, for a 28 day cycle? When for a 30 day cycle?

And I stopped really feeling letdown about 2 months ago...I had almost painful letdowns before and now its more like a very mild warming sensation. Dd seems to not be wanting it much, but up until 4 days ago she was nursing every 2 hours night and day. I do see a tooth coming in (only her 3rd).

NOTICE -- Dh decided to go out of town tomorrow morn and come back Monday (teh 1str) or Tue (the 2nd) --- we will be at MIL without computer access. :

I will start teh Jan Thread -- now before i go -- --- but I may not get it totally twiked like i want it till Tuesday ---

just pretend you are living in a construction zone for a few days.

Nothing new here CD2.. just light spotting. I think I am going to buy a BBT and try it out. I never get more than 2.5 hours straight sleep.. DS wakes usually once an hour but it will be interesting to try and see. I need to focus energy on something.

I am at my mom's in Boston (until tomorrow) so when I told DH about PPAF he was very excited. So that made me feel good! I have no idea what kind of cycles I will have.. I used to be a text book O at D14 and AF on D28, so we'll see.

Aimee, I wish I knew if nursing effected implantation... . I hope not. I don't want to wean DS and I don't want to wait until he totally weans to TTC successfully.

wellllllllllllllllll at this point neither is an option for us (well i guess waiting would be -- but not one we want)

BUT there are so many mommas in the successstories -- that it showes it is not impossible to get a baby while nurseing the other baby.

Hello all,
We are also ttc our 2nd, we just started this past month since it was the first time in 20 months that AF showed up. DD is now only nursing at bedtime and throughout the night. Even though I have tested like 5 times - $ general tests I am a bit impatient - and gotten all BFN I am still holding out hope...I thought I would say hi real quick.

i thought of something

i am TTC with a nurseling for the first time, as we only ahve one child and are working on number two (and working hard)

but -- surely some of the moms here are doing this for teh 2nd or maybe 3rd time..........

sooooooo if this is not your first TTC while nurseing adventure -- tell us -- DID it take longer to get pg while nurseing than without nurseing?

I had one PPAF between my first and second child at 15 months and one PPAF between my 3rd and 4th at 18 months. When my second child was 15 months I also had 1 PPAF before conceiving but only went to 9 weeks.

There is a 4.5 year gap between my 2nd and 3rd but we were tta until then. I have never had a big problem conceiving but I am considerably older now than I was the first time around. My 3rd child is weaned (I think, she assures me most days that 3 year olds still nurse) and the fourth is still nursing. I assume that it is this drop in nursing that precipitated my return to menses.

In short, once I was oing I haven't had much trouble conceiving and carrying a baby though I did struggle to get my cycles regular many, many years ago.
