AND LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

Today I took her to the DR. and I had the Ergo carrier, She nursed for an hour while I filled out paperwork and waited for her turn, it was great, I got up sat down walked and she stayed happily attached, the best part no one knew, LOL I was talking to a mom who had a different carry and she was asking about the carrier she said "look how sweet she is sleeping" Funny thing is she was wide awake and eating! I love my Ergo. This was our first time using it.

Oooh, I just got my Ergo yesterday too. Sounds like you had better luck than me trying to nurse in it. It was pretty akward, but I'm tall and long in the torso so maybe that is why?

Other than that, I love mine too! I could hardly feel her weight at all. I'm sure with a little practice it will be a piece of cake. I hope!

I just loosened the straps and layed her down sideways, not sure we exactly did it right but it workled for us.

samantha546 is funny, just like me! hitting all the ERGO threads. ha ha ha. I haven't nursed DS in it yet...he is 7.5 months old...i figure with the winter i can cover up a bit with the coat i wear over us both. Do you sit down to nurse by losing straps and sitting there? hmmm....

Also, i just love that he stays warm enough. We're having a fairly warm winter of 40-50 degrees (warmest in 200 years here!), so since he is in such close contact with me, shoes, socks, pants a couple layers and a hat is enough to keep him very toasty as i have a coat snuggled up on his sides to keep the wind out.

It must be the body heat. its just great not having to put on a bulky winter outfit...yet...

Well, now. I'm a little less enchanted with my Ergo; I know it's probably the user and not the carrier. I unhooked all the straps and when I tried to put the carrier on again I just can't seem to get the fit right. The two shoulder black strap locks now dig into my side and my DD just cries.

Maybe she is too young and small? She is 3-mo with good head control and I'm not sure how much she weighs. Maybe around 14-lbs.

I do love though that her weight is not pulling down on my shoulders!
