i was lookin up online on how to check your own cervix, they always refer to a donut hole type thing , but i have never felt that the 2 times ive attempted to check my cervix it feels like there something in the middle and 2 sides not a donut , it doesnt feel like the tip of a nose it feels rather mushy. it said u put your fingers up going towards ur rectum. well if u can put them in and get to your hand like fingers length in to where u cant go anymore does that mean its still high up or what? and what about being able to fit 2 fingers i found it easier to try and figure out this way, im just kinda lost in my own territory lmao. i posted it on the other forum but gotten no responses so maybe someone knows more here.

Yes, it means it's high up. I can check my non-preg cervix just fine, but exactly at 4 weeks preg my cervix moved and stayed so high that I cannot get to it. It does drop toward the end of pregnancy and in labor....even though mine hasn't dropped at all yet. I plan on trying to check it myself during labor if I can.
