Building our home business up enough so that I spend less time at the sewing machine and more time with my family. (We're halfway there!!)

Giving birth to our new son at home in our bathtub, with my loving Dustin's help!

I am teaching myself how to knit!

We rarely go out, but our favourite this year would be Ichi Teriyaki a terrific family-owned teriyaki place

Fresh fruit

Favorite thing to do to relax?
#1 ~ Watching a movie snuggled on the couch with Dustin after all the kids are asleep
#2 ~ Taking a nice hot bath with a good book

As for tarot decks, I have the Celtic Dragon deck and Dustin uses the Gilded Tarot deck.

Hehe I'd be in for sushi & bubbly too! My inlaws are in melbourne partying though The Goddess isn't my design, I happened to spot her on the cover of a cross stitch mag as I browsed in a shop one day! She is just beautiful : Its a british x stitch mag called Cross stitch Collection, issue 135. Scanned her in for ya ... hoping I do this right hehe

Hehehe yeah I'm figuring a few months worth of work there! My stitching time is when kids nap and after they're in bed otherwise there are two small boys, one under each elbow, wanting to watch Bought as exciting as watching grass grow, but you can't convince THEM of that!

Happy new year mama's btw... had a completely pathetic one here last night lol. Hubby had to work, all kids were in bed... so I retired to the lounge (with x stitch in tow) with a cuppa coffee planning to watch the Sydney celebrations and stitch the night away. Turned out the sydney party was the stupidest thing ever .. so I popped the Secret in instead Sent hubby a text at 1030pm then went to bed

Well we have no plans for this new years eve. Dh is sick so we may not even get to the snow tomorrow. You ever think about something and think you should have done it when you thought of it? Well this is one of those times. I wanted to go up to the snow friday and dh talked me out of it and now we probably won't go. Maybe I will take the kids up on my own.

Ooooh Cari, that goddess cross-stitch is beautiful!! Makes me want to start that hobby up again (I've got a bin full of floss). ~sigh~ to have time for handcrafts, that's my latest daydream

We're planning on just staying in and making some cookies and cocoa and playing games and watching a movie.

Back from camping and I have not caught up yet on the thread. I wanted to post first. Had a good time camping. We're learning slowly how to be better campers. Like, um, bringing firewood is a good thing to remember. We had the nicest camping neighbors who gave us wood and treated the little guys with banana boats...a new fave treat for us. We went out in our little boat. We took our dog with for the first time and he did great. He only growled a bit at the snooping racoon a little but I calmed him down. He loved swimming in the river while the boys "fished." The weather was perfect. In the low 80's with a nice breeze. I htink camping will turn into a new family fun time. I can't wait to go to the store and buy more camping gear.

One of my goals for 2007 is to learn to crochet and possibly knit. I crocheted my first chain the other night! Exciting stuff.

Off to order chinese food. Too tired to cook.

Ty =) Having time to do x stitch is a daydream of mine too LOL... which is why she'll probably take me longer than I plan. I'm setting myself a goal of getting Her finished, mounted, and on the wall over the altar by...Samhain! That's 5months...I can do that can't I???

Welcome back! Camping is certainly a learning experience isn't it...fun though! I would love to learn to knit as well, going to have to wait till I get bored x stitching again first lol...btw I'll have garlic chicken :

I'd love to live someplace where we could have a few goats someday. I know DH has talked about having livestock at some point (he grew up on a farm, but I'm not sure he realizes how much work animals take...apple trees are prety patient critters compared to our four footed friends!).

My mom gave me some really beautiful hand dyed yarn for my birthday along with a fantastic book of knitting patterns (Folk Shawls by Cheryl Oberle) and my goal is to have one of them done by my birthday next November. It sounds so possible right now but with a toddler and babe on the way...it may not be so easy!

Speaking of the babe...some healing vibes and "anti stress" thoughts would be wonderful. I'm honestly not too worried right now, but some of my test results have come back "not so good" and I need to go have some "serious" tests done at a larger hospital an hour or so away. I don't know when they'll be able to see me, but sooner would be better for my peace of mind so if anyone knows a reliable "cutting through the administration" spell I'm all ears!

And fingers crossed that there's only god news about the wee one in this new year!

I'm trying to be pretty relaxed about the whole thing but I wish they'd not told me anything till Tuesday. Instead I got the call Friday afternoon and the specialist's office wont be open till Tuesday! I mean really...why call "as soon as we saw the results" if there's nothing anyone can do for five days?

Ah well...I am a leaf on the wind, see how I soar!

And a New Year is right around the edge of the clock.

I was looking for an online image of the shawl I want to make, but I haven't found one. Ah well, guess I'll have to finish it and post my own! That would mean "starting" the project too of course.

Well dd2 came down with a low grade fever and runny nose but she is being a trooper and seems to be sleeping now.

DH and i are hanging out and watching Office Space. (well, I am on the computer while my coffee brews)

It is windy and chilly here. I wish we had more wood so we could have a fire in the fire place.

I will sit with DH at midnight and talk about our coming year.

Wombat- many, many s! They felt that ds's kidneys were growing a bit more rapidly than they liked and so I had to undergo several ultrasounds to check that things went well. He progressed fine and there were no complications. Later I learned this is common with boys (dunno why really), but all the same it was unsettling, especially with pregnancy hormones raging. You're in my thoughts.

Popping in on the last day of 2006 to say Happy New Year! It's already 1:46am EST, 12:46am CST, 11:46pm MST and 10:46pm PST (where I'm at.)
